Michelle Pascarella started making pizza at the age of 11 before opening the restaurant in 2019, going on to win the prestigious Global Pizza Maker of the Year award in 2023. Now bookings fill up fast at Napoli On The Road, down Devonshire Road in Chiswick.

Adorned with authentic decor and Amalfi lemon trees sprouting from the tables, it feels like a little trip to paradise when you dine here. The menu, evolving every three months, boasts a range of classic dishes done well, with contemporary editions sprinkled throughout. Highlights include the margherita, the white capricciosa and the mediterranea. The latter is first fried, then cooked in the oven with creamy baked cherry tomatoes, buffalo stracciatella, anchovy fillets, olives and crispy capers. For dessert, there are all sorts of indulgent delights like pistachio tiramisu. Drinks-wise, tempt your tastebuds with a cocktail or two, a beer or a glass of wine.
