First started back in the 1950s in Kenya as a restaurant, nightclub and bar, Brilliant has jumped continents and countries to become one of Southall's most popular Indian restaurants. Now the founder's granddaughter is opening a small spot in Chelsea.

Dip In Brilliant is the work of celebrity chef Dipna Anand - known from the Dip In Kitchen TV series - and has opened on a 70-cover site in West London. The new spot aims to be more casual than its sister site with a selection of sharing platters that can be gorged on quickly. There will also be meal options, with all food inspired by Punjabi cuisine and with the occasional Kenyan twist in homage to where it all began.
