Inspired by the heady days of Northern Soul, you can expect much of the same originality as with its sister venues, plus a plethora of cool furnishings and delicious cocktails.

The cafe interior channels retro working men's clubs and the famous Wigan Casino, making it an obvious venue to host a roster of live musical entertainment, DJs, old school games nights and boozy brunch parties. A giant custom-built disco ball will hangs proudly in the entrance as a giveaway that this is a party venue, and is not just for breakfast.

Fans of The Breakfast Club’s dirty little secrets, The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town, The King of Ladies Man and Call Me Mr Lucky will be pleased to discover that a speakeasy-style bar will be coming along for the ride to West India Docks. Tell staff you have an appointment with the Doctor and find your way into Dr Kluger's Olde Town Tavern. This secret bar beneath the Breakfast Club in the buzzing centre of Canary Wharf is gonna be a hit with all the suited and booted post-work thrill seekers out there.

Experience was okay. The table was ready when we arrived. However the food took an extremely long time to come. I appreciate we were a large table but still a long wait. The food was okay - didn't really live up to expectations in terms of menu description. A muck up with one of the orders but dealt with promptly and well. Not the best food but it is a chain. I don't think I would go again! visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 18 Oct 2016

We came to celebrate a friend who was going on maternity leave, we asked about non-alcoholic cocktails and out waitress assured us that any cocktail on the menu could be made as a 'virgin' cocktail. They then brought my heavily pregnant friend an alcoholic cocktail which she only found out once she started drinking it. The staff were not apologetic at all. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 14 Oct 2016

I had a reservation which was confirmed, but when we got to the place they said the restaurant part is closed and there was no reservation in the system. We were offered a drink on the house, but they were apparently not very keen on serving us or make up for the inconvenience in any other way. I've never experienced anything like this and it was a huge disappointment. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 09 Oct 2016

Canary Wharf might be buzzing but this place certainly wasn't. You'd think 8pm on a Friday night they'd be some atmosphere here, but no. The music was so loud you had to virtually shout at the person next to you to be heard. The bartenders could also do with a refresher course on engaging pleasantly with the customers. Ok for a quick look and 1 drink, but you really wouldn't want to spend much time here Mark visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 23 Sep 2016

I tried to book breakfast for my team of 10. I submitted a reservation request online 2 weeks before the date we wanted to attend and received an auto response telling me that someone would contact me to confirm my reservation. 4 days passed an no contact made... I followed up with an e-mail... another 2 days passed and nothing. I tired calling but the phone number doe snot permit you to speak to an actual person. Finally gave up and booked somewhere else. Won't waste my time again with the Breakfast Club.

I have taken my team that I work here for breakfast 2 times now, and also been twice with colleagues. My last experience was pretty dismal. This last time the breakfast was not what we were expecting. The pancakes were cold and you could taste the baking soda in them and they tasted bitter. Three of my team barely touched them because they were bad. This was also the thirs time I have been there where there were items on the bill we didn't order and we had to ask them to take them off. The first time it happened, I didn't realise until we'd left. I had to go all the way back down to get my refund, they could have done it over the phone. After that, I always checked my bill when we left. Both times, had to point out we didn't order the items. I'd have given it no stars, but the food was fine the times before. But due to a lack of consistency and it not being cheap, it's doubtful we will be back - which is a shame.

This was my first visit to Dr Klugers and it was amazing! On arrival we were about half hour early and was invited to sit in the The Breakfast Club bar area where we were treated to a free coffee. The staff were so helpful and fun to talk to. We then ventured through the Dr Kluger door and were shown to our reserved seats were we thoroughly enjoyed the 'Boozy Brunch'. I would recommend this venue for couples and groups. toyajane visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 30 Jul 2016

Been to this branch of The Breakfast Club a few times and generally had a good experience. Today, visiting with 3 others for "Dr Kluger's Bottomless Boozy Brunch" was not so good at all. Firstly, arriving at midday for the booked time with no sign of anyone having turned up to open the Dr Kluger part of the venue. Staff didn't seem to know what was going on, left us standing around for 15 minutes with no information - not even an offer of a drink while we waited. The idea is pay £39 per person for one main meal off the menu, and your choice of unlimited 2/3 of lager, prosecco or bucks fizz (well, the website says bucks fizz, but the waiter said it wasn't part of the offer). I got the impression however that unlimited wasn't really what they wanted to offer. The one staff member who eventually did show up to open the venue (and I don't blame him by the way, he seemed to be working in the kitchen at one point, so I think it's a classic case of understaffing) hardly ever came to check on us to see if we wanted another drink, so it was regular trips down to the bar to ask him for more. Obviously, being the only staff member, he was always busy at the time doing something or other, so much of your allocated "2 hours bottomless booze" involves waiting around for more. The whole experience made me think: what's the point? Surely the idea of paying £39 for something to eat and free-flowing booze is a laid back experience where you don't have to be constantly looking for help and going back and forth from the bar. The food was good, which means I've given it one more star than I otherwise would have. The Breakfast Club generally exceed with food and at good value. The average main menu price for food is about £9 (which does leave a lot of money left over for this supposedly bottomless booze). It's a real shame, therefore, that the service let it down in such a big way. I can't recommend the Bottomless Boozy Brunch to anyone and that's a shame, as it does have potential if it could be pulled off right. Little things were made more of a hassle than they needed to be for a Sunday brunch, like waiting nearly 40 minutes for a coffee. They need better service, more staff, and staff that actually show up on time to open up. I won't be returning for this offer. Jack visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 05 Jun 2016

The went out of their way to decorate the area reserved for me and my guest . Drinks were continuously flowing. The food was divine. Thank you so much !!! Had a great night at Dr Krugers bar! The secret bar is hidden behind the breakfast club bar and is a great location for any event. I was looked after well by all staff and given a great area above the bar..thank you so much we would love to come back soon :)

Had an amazing breakfast experience at The Breakfast Club. I have been living int he UK for the 8 years but this was the first time I had the English breakfast, Reggie the veggie. That veggie sausage was just out of this world! I think I'll be making my way back there very soon. Loved the service. As soon as we got there we were given a glass of water without asking for them to bring us some. The staff was really sweet and ready to give amazing service. Even though the decor of the place is like one entered an old disco, i think they should still have a bit more light cuz it did feel rather too dark.

Had the most amazing day at the bottomless prosecco brunch! Amazing location and amazing staff...The private room with disco balls was great for out party of 10 girls. Could not have wished for better!

A little bit of confusion with our table booking but we had a really good night here. The restaurant is lovely, with brilliant decor. The service was good, the cocktails excellent and I can't wait to eat the food again!

Disappointing breakfast. Booked a table in advance, I was given undercooked eggs (runny eggs) and my friend's avocado was overripe. Not enough floor staff, prefer Canteen in the Wharf for the same prices.

Lovely lunch and I managed the pancake challenge! The food was lovely and the guy starting the challenges was a good motivator ha! Highly recommend a breakfast. Also the blonde waitress/table booking girl was really hot!

Would recommend for some Friday night escapism from the canary wharf formality. Staff and atmosphere lovely... Live music is normally great! Only area to improve in my opinion is the Dinner Menu could do with a couple more options. Stephanie visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 29 Jan 2016

Had brunch at Dr Klugers for a friend's birthday and it was fun! Food was good, unlimited prosecco was flowing (couldn't do it as much justice due to the food portions), and the music was awesome! I really like the vibe and would definitely go back. Was part of a large group so sitting crouched over a low table or on the bar stools wasn't exactly ideal but was great for lounging after the food was done. I brunch here on New Years Eve with a friend. It was super busy and more tables seemed to have been packed in. Luckily I'd booked (do like that you can do that now!). We had about 3 different people trying to serve us, all whom were quite pushy to take our food order (felt like they were trying to get us through quickly), however then took about 10 mins for our drinks to come - when they did come the coffee was cold. The staff were very polite, apologised and brought a new one. The food was ok - again all a bit on the cold side, as was the room. The portion size were good (generally are at BC's)! We didn't order more drinks and food, in fact our 'end of year Bruch' was cut short and we moved venues to continue catching up. Overall bit of a shame. blackheath1 visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 27 Nov 2015

Really good food, great portion size, service was fantastic and the whole place had a great vibe to it. My only issue was how am I supposed to pick only one thing off that menu !? It all sounds so good, that's why I ordered 3 different meals. Can't wait to go again. jameshooper visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 31 Dec 2015

Have been for the Boozy Bingo a few times but also for brunch. Such a fun place, the food is good and the staff is lovely. It's also bigger and less crowded that the other Breakfast clubs. The Boozy Bingo is an absolute to-do in London!

Brilliant place. Have been both at lunchtime and in the evening and cannot fault it. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food is delicious. Cannot fault it. Just wear something with an elasticated waist as the portions are massive :)

Food lovely, Staff lovely too. We had a burger and late breakfast. The place is really warm and comfortable. We have been offered two beers as there had been a misunderstanding with the meals we ordered. ellie27 visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 07 Oct 2015

Food was delish, as always at The Breakfast club, but service could've been better. We had to seek them out to take our orders and to get our bill. Other than that, the decor and atmosphere was great as well!
04 Oct 2015 by Marissa

Food was good, staff was rubbish. Bunch of them standing in a circle chatting. You literally had to stare at them until they realise "oh, there are customers still waiting to be served" Pathetic.
02 Oct 2015 by sorjai

My friends and I ate here recently. The service was poor it appeared as if there was confusion with the staff about who looked after what tables and what orders people placed. I have eaten in the Battersea Rise and its great. This one is not! Go here only if you have lots and lots of time to waste.

I love this place!! Had a great dinner on Wednesday night as always - get there before 7pm for Happy Hour! I agree with some of the reviews that service can have it's moments of not being perfect - we had to wait nearly 15 minutes for our wine because the guy was making one milkshake - multi tasking should be the norm - but otherwise, great food, good atmosphere and a good place for a dinner date or just date with friends etc! aotoole99 visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 16 Sep 2015

Dear Sir/Madam, On Friday morning I took some clients to the Canary Wharf branch of your chain. Unfortunately the whole experience was rather unimpressive. The service was awful, with one of the waitresses being down right rude. So much so that one of the guest I was entertaining remarked that I should not leave a tip. Further to this, I had ordered the full Monty breakfast, which was badly cooked and missing the black pudding (not a massive issue in reality). On realising this I asked if I could please have my black pudding. No apology was offered and a couple of minutes later an inedible burnt piece of coal was plonked on my table (I presume it may have been black pudding at one stage). I suspect this piece of black pudding had been sitting on the griddle for at least 20-30 minutes and was so burnt I genuinely couldn't cut through it. All of the eggs on our table of 5 were over cooked to the point you could probably have had a decent game of tennis with those that had been poached. Because I was with clients I didn't want to cause any fuss at the time, but I was very displeased with the whole experience I felt I should bring it to your attention. Regards, Johnny Hood

Boozy brunch at Dr Klugers is an excellent idea but someone lacks the atmosphere that makes a good brunch, I love the breakfast club food and a good boozy brunch but this fell short for me. The staff were generous with the drinks but we did at times struggle to get their attention and it seemed they were there to socialise with one another rather than to serve the few customers who were there. We were a large table of 9 but only received 8 of the meals we ordered which was annoying but in their defence was resolved quickly. Overall I would recommend the standard breakfast club before I would the doctor Kluger brunch option as better brunches are available in London.

Place looks more a club than a restaurant where to go for relax with friends.Food nothing special, staff is really nice not the manager was 12 and restaurant was getting busy so he took our plate without make sure I finished my food and put the bill on table which one we didn't ask, we felt really rushed we have to leave. No back anymore for sure.
23 Aug 2015 by claudian84

The venue & food was great, we came for breakfast after hearing some fantastic reviews and we were not disappointed. We all had pancakes of some sort after spending forever deliberating over the choices. The only thing that let this visit down was the service, it was slow once we had ordered our food, it wasnt particularly busy by the time we wanted to pay the bill. Despite that i would definately come back again.
04 Aug 2015 by jess1986

The service, dessert, entertainment and venue was great, but the main burger meal was disappointing. It was lacking in seasoning and general flavour, and was a bit too cold when served. Get this right and I would be 100% happy.
26 Jul 2015 by mbailey1

Wanted to come here for ages and i was not disappointed! The whole experience was excellent; from the staff, food to the little details, like a 'Breakfast Club' badge with your bill! If you go here you NEED to have the berry pancakes - breakfast heaven!

I’ve been to the Breakfast Club in Canary Wharf a few times now, and it’s been absolutely fantastic. There can be a bit of a queue on Sunday mornings when they don’t take bookings – but it’s worth the wait - and all other days you can book. I don’t think there is anywhere else like it nearby to get such a good breakfast – it reminds me of being in the US. The service is fast and efficient, the staff are genuinely nice and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. I can especially recommend the Huevos Rancheros (my version of a “healthy breakfast”), the American Breakfast (crispy bacon and great pancakes), and the pulled pork – tried them all, love them all!!! The Bloody Mary’s are pretty phenomenal too. If you’re in Canary Wharf, you have to give it a try!

I went to the Canary Wharf BC branch for lunch and although I didn't enjoy my food selection the staff were so helpful it was untrue. They were so quick to ensure that I was happy and to make sure that I ordered something else, so that I didn't go hungry. Excellent customer service, which is so hard to find these days. 10 out of 10. I will definitely be going back !
26 Jun 2015 by stellablankson

The food is tasty and well-presented. It has good décor and a fun atmosphere. It's slightly too crammed - they could do with taking a couple of tables out (but the queues would be longer). The real downside is the service. The staff are polite if not overly friendly but very, very slow. They forget my drink (ordered with food) and I had to ask 3 times for it and it came after my food was eaten. They are just never around to catch their attention or they leave things off orders or forget things (water, mayo, extra bread...)

We have been there for dinner and it was the worst meal I have had in a long time. Service was not great either. We will not go back. If you want to go for breakfast maybe but for dinner don't recommend.
18 Jun 2015 by finac

Visited TBC for the first time on sunday evening, was a great atmosphere with 90s tunes and a great menu to select from. The main course and drinks were served relatively efficiently and were of a good standard. However, during the service we were attended to by several people all of whom were very unsure of what was going on. Standards slipped a lot during the dessert course when we ordered a cheesecake and apple pie both with ice cream. we waited near half an hour and were told the pie was sold out, we made an alternative selection and waited another 10-15 mins to receive the desserts with custard and not ice cream. We returned them, waited another 10-15 mins and were told out of ice cream. There are 4 menu choices, each with either icecream or custard, can it really be that hard to know what is off the menu?! plus how did they run out of icecream? oh, I see, I have just read the comment below

Disaster. Waited over an hour for pancakes, in Canary Wharf at lunchtime. When they finally arrived, some genius dumped the side of bacon I ordered on top (???) of the berry pancakes so that it was drowning in a mountain of vanilla cream. Fkin disgusting. Other than that there was nowhere near enough syrup or berries - the bacon was sort of grayish and fatty and grim (not that I ate it anyway given it was covered in fkin VANILLA CREAM). Fair enough they comped it for being so incredibly late but the lateness definitely wasn't a one off - I looked around after about 45 minutes of waiting and realised only about three out of 20 odd tables actually had food on them, Grossly incompetent. And the waiters are d!cks. Never going back, definitely wouldn't recommend unless you got a good couple of hours free, have just eaten and are incredibly patient. Try a different branch.
