Description

Inspired by the heady days of Northern Soul, you can expect much of the same originality as with its sister venues, plus a plethora of cool furnishings and delicious cocktails.

The cafe interior channels retro working men's clubs and the famous Wigan Casino, making it an obvious venue to host a roster of live musical entertainment, DJs, old school games nights and boozy brunch parties. A giant custom-built disco ball will hangs proudly in the entrance as a giveaway that this is a party venue, and is not just for breakfast.

Fans of The Breakfast Club’s dirty little secrets, The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town, The King of Ladies Man and Call Me Mr Lucky will be pleased to discover that a speakeasy-style bar will be coming along for the ride to West India Docks. Tell staff you have an appointment with the Doctor and find your way into Dr Kluger's Olde Town Tavern. This secret bar beneath the Breakfast Club in the buzzing centre of Canary Wharf is gonna be a hit with all the suited and booted post-work thrill seekers out there.

Great service, the waitress was excellent. Unfortunately however breakfast was disappointing. Ordered the avocado and poached egg option - the egg was cold and not runny and only one egg which did not fill me up! On the bright side, the coffee was excellent. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 19 Apr 2017

Use to be the best breakfast in Canary Wharf. Last visit had the impression the cooks had been replaced by student, basics like bread was provided when it was supposed to be toast, sausage in a separate pot rather than on the plate, whats that about? Sorry dont like giving negative reviews :-| visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 12 Apr 2017

Poor service. A group of 10 of us waited over 30 minutes for breakfast only to be served incorrect orders and one of us a cold breakfast. This was my first visit to the Canary Wharf branch (I usually dine at the Hoxton/Shoreditch branch) and will definitely not be returning. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 06 Apr 2017

Service was very slow, and though I appreciate that our table was booked at the busy breakfast time, I would not have expected to wait 40 minutes for our food to come and also to have to ask for our drinks to be brought out multiple times. Once arrived, the food was enjoyable. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 31 Mar 2017

Actually very disappointing. Service was very slow and absolutely not worth the 12.5% service charge which is added to every bill. When breakfast finally arrived it was over-cooked and dry. The half monty has been removed from the menu, strange especially as the waiter advised it was one of the most popular choices - a money making exercise maybe? Time to find somewhere new, I think. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 29 Mar 2017

Asked for water many times - never got the water. Had to go by myself to get a jug. the waitress pushed us to leave even though I reserved the table until 10:30, we got the bill with the question " is everything alright ?" [9:45] - my friend was still eating. the food is amazing, the service is annoying... by the way the cappuccinos are amazing too. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 24 Mar 2017

My colleagues and I had a great night, lots of dancing and fun. Great drinks, queues at the bar sometimes were a little long, but the wait was worth it for the cocktails. Only thing that caused a little niggle was the menu's state happy hour till 8pm yet the female bar tender said it was 7pm and was a little bit abrupt about it, wasn't necessary but we managed to carry on having a good time. Would still recommend the venue a LOT and plan to be back lots. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 02 Mar 2017

Every time I go to the breakfast club the table service is poor to mediocre, I only attend for the novelty of the speakeasy bars or a spacial menu e.g. pancake day. The last occasion was worse than usual, the table wasn't set for the number of people who were booked to be seated, and when we asked for extra cutlery and clean glasses (because one glass was dirty) the waitress rolled her eyes and was not polite. On top of this 3 out of 6 of the orders were taken incorrectly.... visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 01 Mar 2017

Food was great but it took a while to come out. We were having a working lunch so needed to be in and out in 90 minutes. Service was good. Order was taken fairly quickly but had roughly a 45 minute wait for the food to be brought out. Maybe this was because it was being brought out together? visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 24 Feb 2017

The high chair is just a booster and for our 8 months old was completely not suitable. We also got dirty glasses for the water, they got changed say our request, but still not very pleasant. Food was also only average. Sorry to say all this negative, as the staff was so friendly and the atmosphere good. Hope they improve themselves soon visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 24 Feb 2017

Great space and everyone enjoyed themselves. The chick behind the bar could be more friendly and smile, though she provided quick service. Also, we were told we had to pre-order food on the night, which I wasn't told at the time of booking. We spent approximately £500 and would have spent double if we could have got food (and we were hungry!) visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 21 Feb 2017

Bloody useless. You people couldn't organise a two car parade. Tough to write a review when I couldn't get in as you had cocked-up the booking. Of the experience I did have of the staff at the time I rate you D-. Sytems need improvement. Staff need training. Booking experience was poor-First booking request didn't seem to go through as I never got a confirmation via email. I got no response to an email or when I called repeatedly. the quality of the service is quite low and not very attentive, we had to ask for everything, can we order, can we have more drinks, can we pay. Food took a while to come but was good when it did and the music and theme of the place is good :) Katy visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 14 Feb 2017

Staff were nice once served and well as the food but the service was poor and ruined the experience completely. Myself and my partner waiting 20 minutes to get served. We made eye contact with at least three members of staff who just ignored us when all they were doing were standing around chatting with each other. You need to improve this and make your staff more vigilant. Food was great but issues like this ruin an experience and I will not be returning unfortunately. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 13 Feb 2017

I went to the Dr Kluger at the breakfast club on Saturday for the boozy brunch experience with my friends. This event was also hosted by drag queens who provided great entertainment. The bubbles flowed freely and the food was great. One of my friends was vegan and she was also well catered for. We had such a great time, me and all my friends want to go back and do it again! In fact a few that weren't there but have seen our posts about it on Facebook have also said they want to join us next time. Such a fun afternoon and all the staff there were great. Recommended. visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 11 Feb 2017

Poached eggs were over done - twice. Didn't get an apology and had a lot of attitude from staff when I asked for another egg - which was still overdone. They took £1 off the bill, but still had no apology and was treated rudely. Took 25 mins to get food on the table which in the business district was surprising visited Breakfast Club Canary Wharf on 09 Feb 2017

Have had good visits to other tbc restaurants but this time although the food tasted good it wasn't that hot. Service was very slow, wasn't asked if our food was okay, we wanted more drinks but couldn't order any. My birthday at Dr. Kluger's Strictly Come Drag Queen was AMAZING! Everything was perfect about the day - the venue was so cool, the staff were friendly and attentive (making sure that our Prosecco glasses were never empty), the food was great and obviously the drag acts were incredible! Had such a fun day - would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone!
