Amber

Amber is a contemporary Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurant located in Aldgate’s Goodman’s Fields, offering a relaxed, all-day dining experience that blends Levantine flavours with modern London energy. Drawing inspiration from the historic Amber Road trade route, the concept reflects a meeting of cultures - bringing together regional traditions, seasonal ingredients and a sociable approach to dining. 

The space is light, modern and inviting, with an open-plan layout that transitions seamlessly from bright daytime café to softly lit evening venue. Interiors combine natural materials, greenery and warm textures with industrial touches, creating a setting that feels both stylish and unpretentious. A central bar and open kitchen add energy and theatre, while flexible seating, from casual tables to group-friendly areas, makes the venue well-suited to everything from coffee meetings to larger social gatherings. 

At its core, Amber celebrates Eastern Mediterranean cuisine with a focus on fresh, vibrant, shareable dishes. The menu spans breakfast through to dinner, featuring slow-cooked meats, grilled vegetables, house-made breads and signature plates such as glazed lamb shoulder, cauliflower with green tahini and a variety of mezze-style offerings.
