If you enjoy beer, do yourself a favour and pop down to this London pub in Pimlico. Cask Pub and Kitchen is a famous craft beer pub sister of The Craft Beer co. in Clerkenwell. It reopened in 2009 after a series of changes of management. A friendly couple took over and elevated this into a place worth seeking out. Their selling point is quality beer. They have usually around four or five on tap with a particular interest for some excellent Dark Star and Thornbridge brews. They offer also a huge selection of Belgian and German bottled beers. It must surely be the most bountiful collection of beers in London, with more than 400 bottled varieties, ten real ales and a further ten keg options on draught. It doesn’t look that much from the outside, the exterior is a 70s council block, so incongruous against the nearby Georgian houses that it seems left here by mistake. However inside the décor is much warmer, the bench seating is enlivened with several cushions and there is plenty of seating.
