CELEBRATES THE MUSICAL INFLUENCES OF GORILLAZ WITH OUTDOOR VINYL DJ
SESSIONS
London, UK – Music lovers
are invited to join the Elmhurst Garden Party on Saturday 20th June
from 4pm to 10pm for a unique outdoor celebration of the sounds and
artists that inspired one of Britain's most iconic bands,
Gorillaz.
Taking place in the
gardens of Elmhurst, the event will feature a series of vinyl-only
DJ sets from the Strictly Vinyl crew exploring the eclectic
musical influences behind Gorillaz. Expect an immersive journey
through hip hop, dub, reggae, soul, funk, trip hop, electronica and
global sounds that helped shape the groundbreaking musical world
created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
With Gorillaz performing
later that evening at Tottenham Stadium, the Elmhurst Garden Party
offers the perfect pre-show gathering for fans looking to get into
the spirit before heading to the concert.
The event aims to
spotlight the rich musical heritage that informed Gorillaz's
genre-defying sound while creating a welcoming outdoor space for
music enthusiasts, vinyl collectors and concert-goers alike.
