While banking on tried and true basics, The Wheatsheaf is surely anything but a run-of-the-mill establishment. Putting a little Victorian garden posh into the classic pub scene, the Tooting Bec bar and restaurant serves as the perfect place for a family-friendly Sunday afternoon with our Sunday roasts, or a Friday night spent out dancing to our in - house DJ with reliably delicious food and drink.
Whether feeling a little bar-side fish and chips or a several-course steak and seafood dinner, The Wheatsheaf's numerous menus will have all in a state of succulent-food-filled pleasure. Featuring tantalizing twists on classic British fare such as roasts and juicy beef burgers, in addition to more trendy, tapas-style small plates, no group will leave The Wheatsheaf feeling deprived of a great meal. Our Saturday brunch menu will hit the spot after a night in Tooting and our Sunday roasts have been deemed 'the best in Tooting Bec'!
Of course, no Wheatsheaf experience would be complete without an encore of superb sips. Fear not, for the bar proudly parades a selection of tapped treasures from both the regular and craft beer troves, served up every day of the week. And for those not enticed by the bubbly brews, our Friday night DJ will keep the party going for you until the early hours!
For those special occasions and group gatherings, The Wheatsheaf has a fantastic upstairs space, The Loft. A perfect setting for your birthday, engagement party or Christmas function for 120 guests.
