Description
The Nelson's is an eclectic pub just off Hackney road and Columbia Road Flower Market. Theu have deep roots in the LGBTQ+ community and if pushed into a corner - they do self identify as a 'gay bar'!
The venue is open Tuesday Thursday until 23:00 and Friday to Saturday until midnight.
Sundays we put out a fabulous Sunday Roast dinner with crack-like gravy and great big yorkies. You can choose from beef, lamb, chicken or pork, as well as a cauliflower cheese wellington for the veggies (we make a vegan one too).

Our basement is hidden behind a sliding bookcase facade. Moving the bookcase aside you are greeted to a fairy lit staircase taking you down to our basement space. The basement has a bunch of fluorescent tables and can comfortably seat around 40 people. We can offer you a private bartender for your event, and have additional facilities that may be available such as using it for a private karaoke evening for an extra charge. The music system is independent from the main pub, the usual customer preference is to play their own music which requires a device that has a headphone jack. |
