The Artillery Arms is a traditional pub located on the outskirts of London's financial district. Easily reachable from Old Street station on Bunhill Row, this charismatic pub specialises in lovely home-cooked food and a rich spread of cask ales.
It's a charming retreat from the city and the pub's regulars won't appreciate us telling you all about their favourite spot. There's a good choice of pub classics including fish & chips, pies and the like, as well as plenty of more creative dishes to cater for all tastes. Wash your food down with a crisp pint of ale; there are five regulars on tap, two seasonals and always a special guest to provide you with a comprehensive choice. There's also a good range of wines to pick between if you fancy it.
The Artillery Arms is also ideal if you're having a lazy day. Wile away the hours playing one of their board games and have a chat with the crowd - they're really friendly - or come by on Sunday for some live music. With two roaring fires added for good measure, this place is a cosy winter-warmer that comes into it's element as the colder months roll around. A must visit.
