On Thursday 8th May Paradise by way of Kensal Green will be holding a supper club hosted by Madeleine Shaw. The charismatic young nutritionist, creative chef and blogger, as well as self-professed yoga enthusiast, has brought accessible nutrition to the London dining scene. She will be taking over the dining room for an intimate one off supper, serving a bespoke three course menu and a cocktail created to represent her ‘eat clean’ approach to food.
Guests will be able to enjoy a three course menu of delicious but super healthy dishes on long tables in the dining room of Paradise. Kicking off the evening will be coconut water based cocktails. A selection of dishes will be served to share. To start there will be ‘Kale chips’, ‘Cajun sweet potatoes with coconut dipping sauce’ and ‘Veggie nuggets with tahini sauce’. The main course will consist of ‘Juicy meatballs & courgette’, ‘Spanish infused cauliflower paella’ and ‘Quinoa, feta & pumpkin salad’. Finally, a dessert course to prove that you can be healthy and still treat yourself, will include a ‘Raw brownie’ and ‘Coconut panna cotta’.
Through her website and consultations she helps to educate her clients and large online following, in the effects of eating wholesome and organic produce. Recent high profile clients include Millie Mackintosh and Caggie Dunlop. She aims to teach her followers to master a better relationship with their bodies, boost their confidence, increase their energy levels and sculpt beautiful silhouettes. She is currently working on her first book that includes fabulous sugar free recipes which are both delicious and nutritious.
