🎷 Pete Lukas jazz quarter at the champion
Join us on for an evening of world‑class live jazz as the Pete Lukas Jazz Band takes to the stage. Settle in with a great drink, soak up the atmosphere, and let the music fill one of Notting Hill’s most iconic pubs.
Pete Lukas is a mainstay of the London jazz scene, known for his powerful, soulful sound and deep roots in hard bop. Over the years he has performed alongside some of the biggest names in British and international jazz, including Steve Fishwick, Leon Greening, and New York baritone saxophonist Gary Smulyan. While accomplished on alto and tenor, Pete’s true voice is the baritone saxophone, delivering a gutsy, full‑bodied sound inspired by the legendary Pepper Adams.
As All About Jazz puts it:
“He blows the hard bop tune with ferocity without letting the pace slip, passing by some interesting ideas.”
Whether you’re a dedicated jazz fan or just looking for the perfect Bank Holiday Sunday soundtrack, this promises to be a relaxed, uplifting evening of outstanding live music—and the perfect way to celebrate its long‑awaited return to The Champion.
🎟️ Tickets & Table Reservations

To reserve a table, book a ticket per person in your
group in one go—this helps us seat everyone
