Description

Located in Chelsea on Flood Street, The Coopers Arms is the ultimate destination for an authentic, British pub experience in London.

Not only do their traditional interiors hark to the pub's classic awnings and motifs, their smattering of British flags, taxidermy and floral wallpaper adds a contemporary and fun charm to the venue. If you're looking for a private dining room, let their Albert Room be your guide.

Your haven when it comes to traditional London beers, craft pints and real ale, The Coopers Arms dining experience is also a strictly British affair where roast dinners, Sunday bites, slow cooked beef rib and beer battered cod with chips come as standard.

Very good as usual - it’s a shame you can’t serve medium rare roast beef as sirloin is such a tasty cut which in my view is spoiled by over cooking & has a much blander taste . So much for food regs ! visited Coopers Arms on 22 Oct 2017

Amazing service from the staff (although little of them) - great little area hired (although when we arrived the wrong area was reserved), but the guy who greeted us was quick to sort and we had a wonderful evening. visited Coopers Arms on 21 Oct 2017

where do I start? I'd pre-ordered food and asked if I could plug my own music in. There was no record of the food and nobody could manage the music system. The TV remote didn't work and seemed to be out of batteries. the food when it arrived from a different location was excellent, but the desserts arrived after most of the guests had left. The staff were helpful and very apologetic, but in my view there wasn't enough of them. I've seen from another review on the same day that there was a problem in the kitchen. For such a prestigious location, it was very disappointing visited Coopers Arms on 08 Oct 2017

Tony / Musa I had my birthday booking today at Coopers, and find it hard to put the experience into words – it was a total catastrophe. My friends arrived after 12noon in time for the 12.30 booking – they were served drinks in glasses with blood on – they challenged the barman who denied it was blood, until 1 of my friends pointed out it was HIM who was bleeding from a hand wound he wasn’t aware of – that in itself is enough to possibly have the pub closed. But things actually got worse – the food took several hours to arrive after several promptings – and even then included the wrong meals. My friends who were catching trains had to leave before the food arrived, having paid for their food. The 4 bar staff often stood just staring at each other behind the bar doing nothing – totally oblivious to the other complaints in the pub – I saw 1 male customer with his head in his hands at the total distress his family were suffering at the poor service. My disabled friend then cleared the table of dirty plates after no one from the pub offered to do it after we’d waited over half an hour for the table to be cleared. We were told the chef had had a mental breakdown during the afternoon – that is nothing compared to my state of mind as I saw my 50th birthday party completely ruined. My guests, including my elderly parents, had travelled several hundreds of miles to attend. We finally left at 4.30pm after 4.5 hours of this distress, and still waiting for our desserts to arrive. Where do we go from here – I will be tweeting about my experiences and would like to know whom I should contact at your head office – your establishment is not fit to remain open. visited Coopers Arms on 08 Oct 2017

We had a very successful business event in the Albert Room, Laura was available to us all night which was very helpful, buffet was great. Its is a nice looking pub and the downstairs bar was very welcoming for our guests on arrival. We found that the room with 35 people all talking was very noisy! Would happily use this venue again with a smaller group. visited Coopers Arms on 19 Sep 2017

Had a fantastic evening with 20 old school friends in the Upstairs Room. We were wonderfully looked after, both on the night, and in the planning. It was the third year we've met here, and we'll be back next year. Brilliant visited Coopers Arms on 13 Sep 2017

We had our engagement party here in June 2017, upstairs in the Albert room. The room itself was perfect and Tony the manager incredibly helpful. Everything was perfectly presented. We just added our own flowers. The canapés were great too. visited Coopers Arms on 24 Jun 2017

We held our engagement party drinks here. We had about 50 people and used the upstairs room. It was perfect and worked so well. Tony was so accommodating and helpful. We were in touch throughout. We were allowed into the room early to add some more flowers and add final touches. It looked great. The atmosphere they created was perfect. The upstairs bar worked well and the nibbles were perfect. The whole thing could not have gone better. Thank you so much. visited Coopers Arms on 24 Jun 2017

I don't think the kitchen was well prepared for the 15 people that had lunch in the private room on Sunday May 7. We waited ages for the main course and got the sense that we had been forgotten in favour of individuals downstairs. The food - when it arrived - was good, although the coffee fell into another, less favourable, category. visited Coopers Arms on 07 May 2017

I hired the Albert room for my retirement function for 40 people. Apart from an initial online double glitch which was sorted out quickly the whole experience was great. The room is lovely and the staff made sure I had everything I needed to make the event a success. The buffet food I ordered was delicious and served hot. All my guests commented on how lovely the food was. Thank you Coppers Arms. I will recommend you! visited Coopers Arms on 27 Apr 2017

A traditional pub, in a great location, making it perfect for a casual pub night. You're also bound to bump into people you know and the mulled wine at christmas is second to none.
