This event was awful :( we go to a different quiz at the same venue which is so fun and has over 100 people turn up every week. Because this is his had been so advertised - we turned up at expecting a quiz master and a great atmosphere. To be greeted by a very quiet talking screen and a few tables of equally underwhelmed people. On the promo, it said the quiz would be 5-8pm. It was actually 5:30-6:30. We missed the start of the quiz and the first two questions because it was playing so quietly. We thought we’d come to a second break only to find the quiz was over. There were supposed to be big cash prizes but we never heard any mention of them in the venue or anyone collecting them. And there was talk of it being a national quiz - which wasn’t what was advertised. Altogether a super disappointing experience for Boxing Day! We ended up googling other quizzes that were about to start in Sheffield because it was over so quickly. We won’t be doing another quiz by this company again

We were not told how to join the quiz until we asked bar team several times, they gave us a QR code and we sat there wondering why everyone else's screens were on but ours wasn't, we asked staff several times and they eventually told us we had to move to another part of the bar after the quiz started due to the screen issue. Once we did we quickly learned the use of the tv screen was irrelevant after you got the joining code. The quiz was not as promised as the questions were not all about 2025. We could barely understand the questions due to the audio being hard to hear and the bar staff did nothing to help this. We were not aware every question was quick fire and one one device and as someone with audio processing issues I really struggled with knowing what was asked and then the pressure of trying to process AND answer within 10 seconds. My team included those who's first language isn't English so 2/3 of our team were struggling to comprehend as it was. We were a team of 3, how a team of 8 is supposed to all look at one phone and answer is beyond me The quiz went by so fast had I known I wouldn't have ordered food. Overall very disappointing and have no plan to return
