London's first vegan pub might be revolutionary in concept but it's traditional in appearance. The Spread Eagle in Homerton has all the hallmarks of a quirky East London boozer, from its royal blue bar through to a fauna filled beer garden.
Located moments from the overground, the pub is mixing things up when it comes to grub. Club Mexicana, originally a pop-up, cooks a fiery and flavoursome vegan list, with bites that range from loaded nachos and beer battered tofish through to burgers and a popular brunch menu. Hearty bites site alongside fully vegan beers on the taps and cocktails such as a coconut milk White Russian.
