The Gun x Chef Fuku Omakase: Event Terms & Conditions & Cancellation Policy
Event Terms & Strict Dietary Notice
1. Age Restriction & Challenge 25
This event is strictly 18+. The venue operates a strict Challenge 25 policy. Valid photo identification (Passport, UK/EU Driving Licence, or PASS-accredited card) is required upon entry. Entry will be refused without refund if valid ID cannot be presented.
2. Strict No-Substitution & Allergen Policy
Fixed Menu: This is a fixed 10-course tasting menu curated specifically for the evening by Chef Fuku.
No Modifications: Due to the bespoke preparation, specialized ingredients, and synchronized nature of the multi-course service, we are strictly unable to accommodate any dietary requirements, severe allergies, ingredient preferences, or menu substitutions (including vegetarian or pescatarian alternatives).
Guest Responsibility: By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept that the menu cannot be altered. The venue accepts no liability for undisclosed allergies or dietary restrictions.
3. Timings, Punctuality & Late Arrivals
Service Schedule: Service is a seated, synchronized 10-course tasting experience commencing promptly at 19:00 sharp. Guests are encouraged to arrive 15–30 minutes prior to enjoy a drink downstairs before being seated.
Late Arrivals: To preserve the structure and pace of the meal for all diners, latecomers will be integrated into the meal at the course being served upon their arrival. Missed courses cannot be held, re-served, or refunded.
4. Conduct & Responsible Service
The venue reserves the right to refuse service, refuse entry, or require any guest to leave if they are visibly intoxicated or exhibit disruptive behavior. No refunds will be issued in such circumstances.
Strict Cancellation & Refund Policy
Final Sale: All ticket purchases are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable for monetary credit or future event exchanges.
Third-Party Guest Transfers: If you are unable to attend, you may transfer or sell your ticket to another person (18+). You must notify venue management via email at info@thegunhackney.com at least 48 hours prior to the event with the full name and contact details of the replacement guest. The replacement guest remains subject to the strict no-substitution policy outlined above.
No-Shows: Failure to attend the event for any reason (including travel delays, personal emergencies, or illness) results in forfeiture of the ticket with zero refund or credit.
Event Cancellation or Rescheduling:
If the event is cancelled by the venue or promoter, ticket holders will receive a full refund of the face value of the ticket.
If the event is postponed or rescheduled, existing tickets will automatically transfer to the new date. If you cannot attend the rescheduled date, a full refund will be offered provided requested within 7 days of the postponement notice.
Standard Venue & Ticketing Terms (DesignMyNight)
The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
The venue operates a No Smoking and No Vaping Policy indoors.
The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
