Imran Yusuf
Imran is renowned for his stinging, lyrical street-slang verbiage and super-high energy performance. Fast and furious yet charmingly endearing, his is a unique voice on the comedy circuit.
Born in Mombasa, Kenya and raised in the UK with a brief stint at school in the USA, Imran has also travelled much of the world including Israel/Palestine, Jordan and Saudi Arabia during the Lebanon Crisis in 2006. His work has been inspired by this rich multicultural background, giving him a youthful, energetic and highly original voice that embodies the multi-cultural wealth that exists in modern Britain.
Imran’s TV debut was also made shortly after the festival appearing on Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow (BBC1) and the Edinburg Comedy Fest (BBC3).
Simon Brodkin
Named “the world’s most famous blagger” by The Daily Telegraph, untameable prankster and acclaimed character comedian Simon Brodkin has hit global headlines multiple times for his high-profile stunts. Most famously he handed Prime Minister Theresa May a P45 form during her keynote speech at the Conservative Party Conference and showered disgraced FIFA president Sepp Blatter with hundreds of dollar bills in bribe payments “for the North Korea 2026 World Cup bid”.
Of his many characters, Simon is best known for his irrepressible, south London wide boy Lee Nelson. With each of his Lee Nelson tours (Serious Joker, Suited & Booted, Lee Nelson’s Well Good Tour and Lee Nelson Live) being extended twice or more.
In character as Premier League footballer Jason Bent, Simon has warmed up with the Manchester City team before a fixture against Everton and joined the England squad as they were boarding the plane to the World Cup in Brazil.
Serious Joker, the latest Lee Nelson tour, continues Lee’s new look as first showcased in Suited & Booted, swapping his cap and shorts for a sharp (but stolen) suit. Due to massive demand, this 2017 tour has been extended into 2018. These enormous levels of ticket sales are a trend in Simon’s live shows which are packed with brilliantly crafted jokes and razor-sharp crowd interaction.
“This is satire so sharp you could slash a tyre with it” The Daily Telegraph
Robin Morgan
Robin is a Welsh stand-up, writer and warm-up artist based in London.
On stage he is "wonderfully cheeky and engaging" (Three Weeks), and is "a phenomenal comic - utterly hilarious" (Broadway Baby). He performed his debut hour show at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival, receiving glowing reviews including ★★★★ from the Sunday Times. The show was later adapted into a half-hour recording for BBC Radio Wales, as 'Robin Morgan: Proposes'.
Robin is also a seasoned comedy writer for television and radio, with credits including Have I Got News For You (BBC One), Blind Date (C5), The News Quiz, The Now Show, Rich Hall's US Election Breakdown and Spotlight Tonight with Nish Kumar (BBC R4), amongst others.
In 2018, BBC Radio Wales commissioned two of Robin's sitcoms: 'Home', broadcast in late 2018, and 'Relocation', due to be broadcast in 2019.
He is also a television warm-up artist for The Graham Norton Show (BBC One), Blind Date (C5), Sam Smith At The BBC (BBC One), The Imitation Game(ITV), Celebability (ITV2) and Don't Make Me Laugh (BBC R4).
Tom Toal as MC
Tom Toal is a comedian, writer and actor, hailing from the South East London town of Bexleyheath.
In 2013 Tom Toal performed at The Comedy Reserve with The Pleasance at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and in 2014 TT became an Amused Moose Best Comedy Show finalist for his solo Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, Prequel. In March 2017, he opened gigs for Rob Brydon for some of Rob's tour across the country.
One of Tom's major strengths is his ability to adapt to his audience. Having hosted a range of events from Post Rock Bands album launch to benefit nights for the Socialist Workers Party, Tom has no trouble changing his style to suit the audience, whether it be Stag/Hen weekends, art centre events or corporate crowds.
“Sincere schoolboy nostalgia & great audience interaction.” Fringe Biscuit
“Tom is very funny.” Fringe Review
