Lamb and Flag

Description

Situated in Covent Garden, and one of the most historical pubs in London, is the Lamb and Flag. This charming little pub retains its olde-world charm as it dates back to 1772 and serves great quality food that can be enjoyed by its stunning roaring log fire.

During the early 19th century, the Lamb & Flag gained an infamous reputation for its bare-knuckle fighting and left it with the nickname 'The Bucket of Blood'. Today however the only fight would be to the bar - but don't let the crowds put you off as the food and atmosphere make it more than worth it.

The Lamb and Flag is full of stories and supposed ghosts too - so experience it for yourself and run off with your imagination, after all Charles Dickens did and he was a regular here.
