The Lord Aberconway

Description

For a generous dose of history, make sure you visit The Lord Aberconway on Liverpool Street. Dating back to the 19th century, this traditional pub is named after the last chairman of the old Metropolitan Railway.

Relax at the bar or grab a table and enjoy the traditional pub menu, offering the best in true British pub food, with hearty meals that can be matched with a wide range of cask ales and refreshing spirits.

There’s also plenty to see nearby, including The Gherkin, Old Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane and Shoreditch. The Monument to the Great Fire of London is also close by and, rumour has it, the historic pub is haunted by the spirits of some of the fire’s victims.
