We are
a very rare breed of human; independent pub operators... there
aren't many of us
left!
Our concept is "A Twist on the Traditional". As proper Publicans with old school values we run our pubs with care and passion and welcome all our locals whatever your age, persuasion, or favourite tipple.
We adore the City and all our venues are in the very special little square mile of London between Aldgate and Liverpool St.
As a former Bank branch, the site was an empty space for almost a decade. It was a total blank canvas with no character at all. Bare uneven walls, floors and a waffle ceiling. After painting the ceiling gold, we set to creating a gorgeous new venue to compliment the existing stock of venues in the area. Lovingly known as "The Fenny", the venue attracts a realtively young lively crowd. There's lots of group areas and tables, a decent varied playlist which we're not afraid to turn up and a fun team of local staff who come to work and play hard!
Every detail is meticulously managed. Our pubs are warm, friendly and inviting. The layout is designed to offer spaces for a cosy chat or larger groups. We offer a great beer range served in frozen branded glassware plus a couple of well kept traditional ales. Lines are cleaned. Wines are from a lovely independent supplier and are quite frankly well above average. The food is home cooked, absolutely delicious and generous. Staff are helpful and actually enjoy their job!
