We are a very rare breed of human; independent pub operators... there aren't not many of us left!
Our concept is "A Twist on the Traditional". As proper Publicans with old school values we run our pubs with care and passion and welcome all our locals whatever your age, persuasion, or favourite tipple.
We adore the City and all our venues are in the very special little square mile of London between Moorgate and Aldgate.
We have retained much of the feel of the venue as a former elegant wine bar however have refurbished and refreshed. The space offers a cosy fixed seating area, a good selection of larger and smaller high tables. We have a super downstairs Function Room, perfect for circa 15 - 25 people. And our unique position on a pedestrian alleyway means we benefit from 10 outdoor barrel tables for al fresco drinks.
The vibe is very relaxed, the music is mainly background and there's generally a lovely buzz of conversation in the pub and alleyway.
Every detail is meticulously managed. Our pubs are warm, friendly and inviting. The layout is designed to offer spaces for a cosy chat or larger groups. We offer a great beer range served in frozen branded glassware plus a couple of well kept traditional ales. Lines are cleaned. Wines are from a lovely independent supplier and are quite frankly well above average. The food is home cooked, absolutely delicious and generous. Staff are helpful and actually enjoy their job!
