Inside, you’ll find a cosy, welcoming bar area complete with classic pub fittings and a friendly atmosphere, while an upstairs dining room and balcony offer a more relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks while taking in the views of The River Thames. 

The food and drink offering complements the pub’s relaxed riverside setting, with a menu focused on seasonal, well-sourced ingredients and modern British flavours. Guests can enjoy everything from elevated pub classics and comforting mains to lighter dishes and sharing plates, making it just as suited to a casual bite as a leisurely meal. On Sundays, traditional roasts are a highlight, featuring generous cuts of meat, crisp roast potatoes and all the classic trimmings. Behind the bar, The Steam Packet serves a thoughtfully curated selection of cask ales, craft beers, fine wines and spirits, alongside classic and contemporary cocktails — perfect for pairing with food. 

Our pub quiz is a popular midweek fixture, bringing together locals and visitors for a lively evening of friendly competition. With a mix of general knowledge, themed rounds and light-hearted challenges whether you are a seasoned quizzer or in it just for fun.
