The Hobgoblin, better known as The Devonshire Arms, is one of Camden's most alternative rock and metal pubs. With its unpretentious interiors, all covered with posters and flyers, and its eccentric staff, 'The Dev' (this is how locals and habituees call it) is the ideal place for metal-heads. The venue historically has been respecting a goth and alternative dress code in order to maintain its style, where costumers needed to observe an all-black as minimum: probably this is not a rule anymore but it would still be a plus for all goth faithfuls. Gothic, industrial, metal, dark-ware, future-pop, synth-pop, rock & roll and hard rock is all you can find here every night of the week, with live bands or DJ's playing on weekends.
