After booking online, we arrived to be told that the restaurant was closed and we'd have to look elsewhere. We won't be going back. visited Trinity Arms on 15 Feb 2017

The Trinity Arms was amazing! So flexible and so lovely giving us the upstairs area all to ourselves. But roast was incredibly delicious. Only feedback is gravy for the meat roast! visited Trinity Arms on 29 Jan 2017

Quiz started late and took ages, we left at half time cause it was already 10 o'clock. Wouldn't go again. Pub nice though. visited Trinity Arms on 26 Jan 2017

Unfortunately the food we ordered wasn't available on the day, however the waiter offered us a couple of free drinks which was kind. I've eaten in Trinity many times as i enjoy the pub itself, however unfortunately the food isn't great. So much so that a few friends refuse to eat there anymore. I started visiting Trinity 4 years ago when i moved to the area, the building looks great following the refurb however it seems to have lost mush of it's appeal in recent years through high turnover of staff. It has inherantly had friendly staff who enjoy engaging with the clientele, more recently the bar staff seem uninterested and unhelpful. visited Trinity Arms on 14 Jan 2017

We were not given what was listed on the menu, when we asked for these items we were told they did not have any (bread source and stuffing). Something has been lost since the refurb visited Trinity Arms on 08 Jan 2017

Beer excellent, free dispenser and great idea. Burgers came undercooked, but replaced without question. Maybe a good idea in future to ask when ordering how the customer would like them cooked - well medium or rare visited Trinity Arms on 04 Jan 2017

First of all I would like to say I glad I was that the place was positively heaving. On my last two visits, all be it on a week day lunch time, my party and I were the only guests. The service was excellent. However, the food left a great deal to be desired. Had I wanted a soggy burger wrapped in paper and served on a paper lined tray I would have gone to McDonalds. It's a shame as other aspects of the place are very attractive and you clearly have quite a following, long may that last. Merry Christmas. visited Trinity Arms on 20 Dec 2016
22 Dec 2016 by

I have been before and have to say this time I was really disappointed. We had booked a Christmas lunch and when we arrived, there was decoration all over the floors, someone on a ladder putting it up which you think would happen prior to guests coming. Then almost half of the food on the menu wasn't available and pubs know that Christmas is a busy time so should stock up. Also a soft drink a colleague asked for wasn't in stock. Then someone lit the fire next to us which was really smoky and smelled of this artificial fire lightening cubes. The food was mediocre and when we ordered cappuccinos the waiter said he will give it a go but is not sure if he can make them as the machine doesn't froth the milk properly. So he managed one cappuccino and an Americano but then informed us that he can't make another cappuccino, he had tried. I have to say it was such an embarrassing experience given I had organized the Christmas lunch. Generally it's a cosy pub but I would stay away from lunches/dinners or planning any important events there. visited Trinity Arms on 20 Dec 2016
