Lovely setting and nice garden. Decent service. The roast beef this week was a thick cut of meat - two weeks ago we had the roast beef and it was three thinner slices of beef which was a much nicer cut. Amount of food with the roasts is very good and beer good as always! visited Trinity Arms on 25 Jun 2017

gnerally very good except my daughter is a vegan and there was no vegan option on the menu, just vegetarian. The staff were good however in changing the menu slightly. Perhaps you could put a note on the menu to state that vegan options are available please ask staff. (my daughter actually runs a pub in Hackney, I wont advertise it ! and always has this option on the menu and also has a vegetarian night which is successful, I am not a vegetarian though) visited Trinity Arms on 18 Jun 2017

A group of 5 of us went for the pub quiz and it was a really great night. The quizmaster was brilliant and a fun night was had by all. We ate there too and had burgers which were all delicious, especially the curly fries. Will be back soon hopefully! Alex visited Trinity Arms on 13 Jun 2017

I booked a table outside in the garden, and when I got there half he chairs from the table had been moved by other people so not everyone could sit down. I asked staff why this happened, and despite booking others were able to take the chairs from the table and they said there was nothing they could do. Considering I booked a table I would expect to have what I booked. Ther bar service was good though, just wouldn't go there again with a big group of people. visited Trinity Arms on 02 Jun 2017

Reply from Trinity Arms

Hi Jess, we're so sorry that other customers did not respect your booking and took the chairs. I have passed your comments on the the front of house team, who will be more observant in future.

The pub was great - but service at the bar was slow, and there were several mistakes with our food. Some items missed altogether, meaning people ate 30 mins apart. We also had to send one dish back. Would still come back though, the burgers were awesome. visited Trinity Arms on 04 Jun 2017

Trinity was just perfect for my networking event, and the lovely manager Becky facilitated everything with me before hand to make sure all was prepared in time for the night. She and the whole team made sure everything ran smoothly and accommodated around 25 of us, who all left with a huge smile on their face. Everyone loved the venue upstairs and thought it was really cute with all the decorations and lights - it really gave my event an intimate setting. We were quite noisy as there was a quiz and music, and messy as there was lots of raffle stuff, but one of the staff members took to the cleaning straight away and it didn't even seem like much hassle for her. The location was perfect and atmosphere 100%, thank you to Becky and all of the team for your warmth and generosity! I'll definitely be recommending Trinity to my friends xxx visited Trinity Arms on 31 May 2017

Not great actually, and I was very surprised, we had good expectations from looking at your website. My Dad and I had the roasts. Mine was a veggie, the other beef both not great. The beef was one slice and very difficult to cut, my nutroast dry and tasteless. The vegetables and potatoes arrived after our main, I had to go and look for them, and they looked old when they arrived. The Yorkshire pudding was dry and crispy. I never leave reviews but as you've asked this was our experience. Maybe we made the wrong choice on a very busy Sunday but still we won't eat there again. visited Trinity Arms on 07 May 2017

It is a great pub, with very nice ambience and a good selection of beers. Food menu lacks a bit of imagination for a gourmet pub, offering mostly overpriced burgers that are not any better that average, however they could accommodate a group booking on Saturday night last minute and service was good. Overall a positive experience. visited Trinity Arms on 01 Apr 2017

Very friendly staff, great atomsphere. However, I was not told that the outdoor area shuts at 10pm which came as a shock to me since the security guards rather forcefully told us to leave. Next time, please make you specify on the booking 1) whether my booked table is going to be inside or outside and 2) that the outdoor area shuts at 10pm, if the table is outside. visited Trinity Arms on 01 Apr 2017

Unfortunately the food we ordered wasn't available on the day, however the waiter offered us a couple of free drinks which was kind. I've eaten in Trinity many times as i enjoy the pub itself, however unfortunately the food isn't great. So much so that a few friends refuse to eat there anymore. I started visiting Trinity 4 years ago when i moved to the area, the building looks great following the refurb however it seems to have lost mush of it's appeal in recent years through high turnover of staff. It has inherantly had friendly staff who enjoy engaging with the clientele, more recently the bar staff seem uninterested and unhelpful. visited Trinity Arms on 14 Jan 2017

First of all I would like to say I glad I was that the place was positively heaving. On my last two visits, all be it on a week day lunch time, my party and I were the only guests. The service was excellent. However, the food left a great deal to be desired. Had I wanted a soggy burger wrapped in paper and served on a paper lined tray I would have gone to McDonalds. It's a shame as other aspects of the place are very attractive and you clearly have quite a following, long may that last. Merry Christmas. visited Trinity Arms on 20 Dec 2016

I have been before and have to say this time I was really disappointed. We had booked a Christmas lunch and when we arrived, there was decoration all over the floors, someone on a ladder putting it up which you think would happen prior to guests coming. Then almost half of the food on the menu wasn't available and pubs know that Christmas is a busy time so should stock up. Also a soft drink a colleague asked for wasn't in stock. Then someone lit the fire next to us which was really smoky and smelled of this artificial fire lightening cubes. The food was mediocre and when we ordered cappuccinos the waiter said he will give it a go but is not sure if he can make them as the machine doesn't froth the milk properly. So he managed one cappuccino and an Americano but then informed us that he can't make another cappuccino, he had tried. I have to say it was such an embarrassing experience given I had organized the Christmas lunch. Generally it's a cosy pub but I would stay away from lunches/dinners or planning any important events there. visited Trinity Arms on 20 Dec 2016
