Description
If you're looking for a pub that's a bit more casual and are a fan retro decor, then check out The Palm Tree in Mile End. It's a traditional East End pub run by established East Enders. In the summer, take your pint outside to the grassy canal banks and soak up some sun. Most weekends there is live music which makes for a lively atmosphere.
Expect a broad beer selection, loads of wines and plenty of spirits but maybe avoid asking for tap water as it doesn't sit too well with the staff (who love showing off their booze!). Come here for a friendly atmosphere and a good mix of people. Do note; due to the old school nature of the owners, the bar only accepts cash.
