The Venue

Big Hug Social is the Taproom and event space for Big Hug Brewing. A space with purpose and social cause at its heart. 

Tucked inside a railway arch on the iconic Bermondsey Beer Mile, a few minutes from Bermondsey tube and a short walk from London Bridge, we're an easy get for anyone coming from across the city. Whether you're planning a birthday, a work do, a product launch or something a little more leftfield, we've got the space and the flexibility to make it work. Book the whole arch or just a section, it's up to you.

Drinks
Ten draught taps pouring BigHug Brewing's full range. Our core range supports three different charities supporting the homeless as well as 1Tribe who protect 30 trees with every keg we sell. 

Session beers, premium IPAs, cider, draught wine, cocktails, and alcohol-free options, plus a curated selection of guest drinks with social cause or sustainability at in mind like Karma Drinks, The Sustainable Wine Co. and Pimentae

Food
We don't have an on-site kitchen, but we're surrounded by brilliant independent food vendors and have hosted plenty of catered events for up to 75 people. We're happy to connect you with our preferred partners or work with whoever you've got in mind. Pizza can be delivered directly to the site by the team at Klementinos, who are also available for corporate bookings.

Music & Sound
We have a full sound system across the venue with multi-zone control, perfect for background music, live performances or DJ sets. We've hosted jazz nights, live bands, and everything in between. The room sounds great and we keep it flexible.
