The Stag Belsize

The Stag is a proper neighbourhood pub in the heart of Belsize Park. A place for good pints, good food and good company - whether you’re popping in for one or settling in for the afternoon.

The main bar is relaxed and welcoming, serving great beer, sharp martinis and food that keeps things simple and done properly. Think pub classics, legendary chicken wings and easy plates you’ll always want to order again. Walk-ins are always welcome, limited bookable space in the main bar.

Out back, the garden is a firm local favourite, with cabanas and a Garden Room featuring a retractable roof, making it a reliable spot year-round - sunshine, drizzle or fires on.

Upstairs is our bookable private space, designed with a house party at ours feel. It comes with its own terrace, fridges ready for drinks packages, taps for pouring your own beer and space to gather around the butcher’s block, mix drinks and make yourselves at home.

In the kitchen we focus on simple food done really well - pub classics, famous wings and rotisserie chicken from the outdoor kitchen when the garden’s in action.

From after-work pints and long lunches to garden sessions and private parties, this is a pub made for locals - and anyone who wishes they were one.
