Located on the heart of Balham High Street, between Balham and Clapham South tube stations, The Devonshire, now under new management, welcomes you with open arms to experience the finest culinary delights, the extensive gin shelves and cocktails redefining what a traditional British Pub is.

Three high ceiling rooms with their own unique design and feel can be hired out for all occasions (especially during Christmas), leading into the 250+ person garden with its own bar and food shack.

Your summer packed garden is now being converted into South West London's Aprés-Ski winter pop-up resort from the 2nd December!

Come melt away the day’s tension with piping hot Swiss-style cheese fondue and wash down those tasty morsels with hot rum punch as you kick back, relax and enjoy what Balham Peaks has to offer!

Well we have five wooden chalets named and themed after the world's most renowned ski resorts:

        - St.Anton (6-15 people)
        - Aspen (10-50 people)
        - Vermont (6-15 people)
        - Whistler (10-50 people)

Nice pub, nice decor and good drinks range. Unfortunately for them they keep on employing useless, slow, unenthusiastic bartenders who don’t know what they’re doing or how to provide good customer service. I always have to wait 10 minutes to get served. The ladies toilets are also a disgrace - loo roll everywhere and toilet seats all missing. Is a real shame as this pub has great potential.

Very disappointing we came here for Sunday roast August bank holiday and notice a big difference. The roast was really good so decided to come back. Last Sunday We booked and when sat down were told there would be a 45 min wait. When all 4 roasts turned up were cold. We sent back and when finally arrived not much better. The actually food was not very nice. Roast potatoes hard along with the veg Yorkshire stone cold and hard. We did bring this up but were just told how busy they were. We avoided coming here for years because of bad quality of food so when seen it had the refurb and had a good roast on the bank holiday thought we would return. If a pub cannot do a simple roast in a Sunday when busy then why offer It? Won't be coming back. Visited The Devonshire on 2017-09-24

Lovely pub and nice wine but took 45 mins for our meals to come and then they were cold. Disappointing, as they would have been very tasty if hot. Visited The Devonshire on 2017-09-24

Big fan of this place, especially as there aren't that many amazing beer gardens in Clapham/Balham area. Spacious and a really nice place to grab a beer in the summer. I really enjoyed it.
