"There is a place. Like no place on Earth. A land full of Wonder, Mystery and Danger” wrote Lewis Carroll.

In 2017, we invite you back.  Back to this very place...

Delve deep into the depths of London’s underworld at the Vaults deep underneath Waterloo station and lose yourself in a land far removed from our own.  But this isn’t Alice's adventure, it's yours...

Returning after a sell out run in 2015 critically acclaimed theatre company, Les Enfant Terribles, in collaboration with ebp, bring their Olivier award nominated Alice’s Adventures Underground back in 2017!

‘The perfect remedy for grown-ups who have forgotten what it is to play’  (The Observer).

Tumble down the rabbit hole falling fast into Wonderland, wandering through this ‘topsy-turvy world, wide-eyed’ (The Times) with ‘visual and tactile treats embedded everywhere!’ (The Evening Standard). Make a series of choices; Eat or drink?   Grow or shrink?  Take tea at the biggest un-birthday party with the maddest of Hatters; let the Cheshire Cat take you hither and thither or join the underground movement to rise against the fearsome Queen of Hearts.

Revel in the ‘Wonderland of your imagination recreated before your eyes’ (The Guardian) finding yourself at the centre of the story piecing together the puzzle searching for Alice who has been lost in the looking glass.

If you are already a Wonderlander, be prepared for new surprises and if you’re yet to be greeted by the White Rabbit, come and experience ‘real magic and wonder’ (The Stage).

Don’t be late! Logic will fail you. Nonsense will overwhelm you!

We saw a couple of nights ago.. We go to lots of theatre and as interactive theatre it was good, not great. My wife was disappointed it didn't stay truer to the actual story. I thought it was a fun evening out and something quite different. Worth going! James visited The Vaults on 08 Sep 2017

Set design is great Around 90 mins (wish it could be longer) Sadly my path didn't meet Cheshire cat, but there were crazy twins with some sort of circus skills. Logistic was clear. There was always a performer leading you through your path as well as giving you narrative. olive visited The Vaults on 06 Aug 2017

The production of the immersive theatre was great! Top tip: To avoid getting lost on the way there, go to 'The Vaults Theatre' on Launcelot Street, not Leake Street!! We arrived later than our scheduled time but the staff were understanding and managed to get us on the next available slot. Charlie visited The Vaults on 06 Aug 2017

We really didn't know what to expect - we were both blown away. Total immersion in the story line, excellent performances and imaginative sets. The Song of the Mock Turtle particularly stood out for me. Can't wait to see what Les Enfants Terribles bring to London next. Unforgettable, and highly recommended. Interactive theatre at it's best. We were taken on a magical journey through a maze of different scenarios all featuring characters we knew from Alice. The singing Mock Turtle was sublimely beautiful. Be prepared for mayhem and magic. Vivienne visited The Vaults on 21 Jul 2017

Easy to find even thought my ticket says Leake street and the entrance is actually in Launcelot street. Really do not waste any money on the Alice cocktails. They are absolutely vile, more like chemical cleaning fluids than anything drinkable. The whole experience was zany, wacky and bonkers and very hot and stuffy in some parts. I enjoyed it thoroughly even though you don't know what to expect. The costumes and actors were top notch and I would recommend it. visited The Vaults on 18 Jul 2017

Immersive theatre at it's very best. Surreal, captivating, totally bonkers and incredibly beautiful. You truly get to explore the darker, more zany side of Wonderland - as in the original tale, and not the hearts/flowers soppy Disney alternative. The props, set design and production were phenomenal. So much thought went into every last detail. Actors were superb, never broke character and really brought the whole experience to life. The Joker and the March Hare were by far my favourites. We went in a group of four. At the beginning, you get to select one of two paths. Two of us chose one path, and two of us chose another. If you go in a group, don't be surprised if you get separated. It's quite random, and the White Rabbit and his clan could well take you away somewhere crazy, haha! Just embrace it. Go with it. You'll eventually reunite and can recall your own personal experiences to your friends/family etc. Everyone gets a different experience... and that's what makes it magical. Although the whole theatre experience was absolutely flawless, sadly the box office/bar/food area was utterly shambolic, badly organised and overpriced. Would recommend eating/drinking elsewhere. We pre-booked the Tea Party Cocktail online. When we came to claim our drink at the end of the show, we were told that Tea Party Cocktails were to be claimed IN the actual show?! We weren't told this by the box office upon entering, nor by any of the actors in the production and there was no mention of this on the website, or our receipts. To make matters worse, the food we'd pre-ordered online was horrendous. Paid £7 for "Mac & Cheese" which wasn't macaroni or elbow pasta. It was a stupidly small bowl of badly-cooked fusilli, with watered down cheese sauce, a ton of salt and some dried bacon bits! Service was also very slow, as they only had one member of staff serving food. Did complain to the box office about a couple of our disappointments, but got a rather feeble apology. Don't let this part of the review dissuade you from the actual show, but personally I'd recommend looking elsewhere for food/drink.

The event was awesome!! The actors really threw themselves into the roles and engaged with everyone. Only downside was we didn't get a drink at the tea party, and there was no food left at the end, so we didn't end up having any dinner. However I would Thoroughly recommend it!
