Join us for a thought-provoking breakfast hosted in partnership with The Systems Sanctuary to delve into a paradigm-shifting exploration of the Art of Scaling Deep.

What?

In recent decades, the focus on social and environmental change has heavily leaned towards business-oriented growth strategies—scaling up policies and replicating solutions widely. Yet, this growth-centric approach overlooks a crucial aspect: Scaling Deep. This often neglected dimension emphasizes the slow, intentional work of building relationships, considering context, fostering community connections, and prioritizing inner healing—a practice we believe holds the key to lasting impact amidst the urgency for quick fixes.

In our quest to better understand the dynamics of social innovation and systems change, The Systems Sanctuary and Ashoka Canada collaborated to shine a spotlight on "Scaling Deep" as a powerful and often underappreciated practice within the realm of systems change.

Systems Sanctuary Co-Founders Tatiana Fraser & Rachel Sinha & will be visiting from the US and Canada to share the key findings from this research including:

  • What scaling deep looks like: practices. methods and strategies
  • The barriers to scaling deep and the highest potential
  • Trends and patterns

Another great evening at the Cosmic Pumpkin. Last Wednesday in April I hope to go again. As the last poet of the evening said "this is turning into my favourite poetry place in London". I agree and Mr Gee has a lot to do with that.

Always a brilliant poetry night at the Cosmic Pumpkin, the Open Mic sees a varied type of poets, each inspiring in different ways. The host Mr. Gee offers a great encouraging environment based on sharing and not competing, making everyone welcome, in addition to offering his own craft with performance poetry and a bit of comedy with his gentle humour. The place is also great and easy to reach in Central London.
