Discover the art of jewellery making in this hands-on wax carving experience at Stööki Jewellery, located in the heart of London, Boxpark Shoreditch.
Perfect for complete beginners and creative minds alike, this unique workshop invites you to design and carve your own ring or pendant from jeweller's wax using traditional techniques guided by Stööki founders Nadia and Luke. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion, planning a memorable date, catching up with friends or simply looking to try something new, you'll leave with the satisfaction of having created something truly personal.
Throughout the session, you'll learn the fundamentals of wax carving, explore different tools and techniques, and receive plenty of one-to-one guidance as you bring your ideas to life in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Once your design is complete, you'll have the option to have your piece professionally cast and finished in precious metal, transforming your handmade creation into a wearable keepsake to treasure for years to come.
Stööki is an award-winning London jewellery brand known for blending art, fashion and music through contemporary craftsmanship. Having delivered workshops and creative experiences for brands and institutions including Soho House, Tate Modern and the V&A, the team specialises in creating inspiring, beginner-friendly experiences that encourage people to slow down, connect and explore their creativity.
All tools and materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your imagination. Come solo, with a partner, family or friends, and experience the joy of turning wax into wearable art.
By the end of the session you will have completed a carving of your jewellery design as a wax master in blue or green wax only. You can then choose to get the wax casted into a metal jewellery piece which is a process that takes place after the session and hand finished by Stööki at our studio. All add-on options and prices are listed below and completely optional. Add-ons can be bought when you purchase your tickets online and also at the end of the session on the day.
In this workshop you will:
- Get an insight in to the jewellery making process
- Receive a wax ring template to customise with your own design
- Get a tutorial covering a range of jewellery making techniques
The aim is to have a finished wax master at the end of the workshop that can be taken home, but there is also the option of turning your personalised wax ring into a finished jewellery piece. If you decide that you want to get your wax master turned into a metal option at the end of the workshop, the additional prices for getting jewellery made are as follows and can be purchased on the day:

*Please note that these prices include the wax to make a ring the maximum size of the template provided at the workshop (4mm width). If you would like to receive a bigger template we are happy to provide you with one on the day. At the end of the session we will weigh your finished wax creation and charge you based on the extra weight of the chosen metal, plus an additional £20 casting fee.
Stööki will provide all the equipment needed for this session.

All jewellery pieces are handcrafted at the Stööki Studio in London Greenwich and workshops alongside their ready-to-wear collections are available from the Stööki Jewellery Store at Boxpark Shoreditch

1. The ticket holder voluntarily assumes all risks and danger incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior, during or after the event. The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
10. The venue may operate a No Smoking Policy.
11. The promoter, venue management and DesignMyNight accept no responsibility for any personal property.
12. The event listed on the purchased ticket is strictly for ticket holders who are over 18 years of age. Identification may be required.
