Medieval Banquet is a show like no other in London! Centrally located, London's original Medieval banquet has stood in the beautiful and historic setting of St Katharine's Docks, just a two minute walk from Tower Bridge, for over forty years. Travel back to Medieval London where the year is 1529 and culture has never been so riotous! Join Henry VIII and his court, at this most royal of banquets and enjoy a four course feast with beer and wine brought to your table throughout the meal. Traditional music echoes around the banquetting hall, as medieval styled entertainment plays out before your eyes. Knights prepare to do battle with an elaborate display of sword-fighting, while magicians, jugglers and minstrels transport you back to merry olde England in this hugely entertaining dinner-theatre experience.

All this takes place with the history of 1000 years beneath your feet! Later, once the wine has settled and the flowing ale has taken affect; the music is brought back into more modern times and everyone one is invited to get up and dance the night away. This raucous night of immersive entertainment encourages you join to in as much as you want, you can sing and dance, or if if you'd rather, you can just sit back and watch events unfurl. You can even hire fancy dress costumes to really get into character! Perfect for the whole family, for special occasions, parties, stag and hen dos, or even if you just fancy doing something a little different, The Medieval Banquet is not your usual dining experience. Tickets must be purchased in advance, and you can book through DesignMyNight.

If you can get tickets for this on an offer then it worth a visit. However, if you pay full price, you may be a little disappointed. The watered down alcohol is free flowing, but the food is BASIC, and not dished out to generously either. The entertainment is reasonable, but if you are sat past the mid way point of the table, don't expect to be able to see much as all the tables are set in deep alcoves that don't really lend themselves to watching a show from. I've been to similar events in Florida and Spain, which were similar in quality for food and drink, but had the added excitement of horses and jousting. If you wave seen these then this will seem very pedestrian in comparison.

A really great night. Ended up going on a mate's stag do and wasn't sure about it before hand, but we all had a laugh. Food was good, ale was flowing and the atmosphere was terrific.

This is a right hoot, I went with friends for a birthday. The food is pretty standard, but the entertainment is excellent. Plus it's located on St.Katherine's Dock, which is swish! They even have fencing outside and a dress up box! A must!
