Roundhouse

Description

Roundhouse is a historic live music venue, a few minutes walk from Chalk Farm Station. Formerly a railway engine shed, Roundhouse was built in 1847 and was used for railway purposes until World War II. Five years later, Roundhouse started hosting various kinds of performing arts events and is now one of the most famous musical and cultural hubs in the city, and is a popular choice among the London nightlife scene.

You can find live music, comedy, circus and new media here, seven days a week. Major Lazer, Paul Kalkbrenner, Nicolas Jaar, Beach House and Scissor Sisters are just a few out of the long list of big acts the venue has had the pleasure to welcome.

As a charity, Roundhouse also offers a host of free programmes to young creatives through the revenue from its ticket sales, and is also available for private hire.
