About the event:
Limin’ Beach Club is thrilled to present Rum Insurrection on National Rum Day, bringing together some of the best rums in the world—such as, Appleton Estate, Black Tot, Equiano, Havana Club, Rhum Clement, Plantation rum and more—for one night only, Tues 16th August.
The event is an opportunity for rum lovers of all experience levels to taste an exciting range of rums from across the Caribbean and beyond; and to meet the experts and ambassadors who will be waxing poetic about the provenance, flavours, and production methods of the rums they're pouring.
Rum Insurrection will also feature an exclusive cocktail masterclass for all attendees which starts at 6:30 PM, and a DJ will be providing the soundtrack for the evening to transport you from the South Bank to the soft sands of the Caribbean. After the event, attendees are invited to stick around for Limin's standard bar service and enjoy a few cocktails from the limited edition Rum Insurrection menu featuring some of the exquisite rums enjoyed over the course of the evening.
At Rum Insurrection, attendees will also have the opportunity to donate to a charitable raffle with funds going towards The Drinks Trust, a non-profit organization that aims to provide care and support to people within the drinks industry workforce, both past and present.
About the venue:
Bringing a slice of Caribbean sunshine to the South Bank this summer, Limin' Beach Club is an island paradise like no other, with three outdoor beaches just steps away from the Thames, tucked into Gabriel's Wharf. The Instagram hotspot has garnered rave critic reviews, offering authentic sizzling Caribbean beach BBQ dishes and an extensive range of rum-based drinks to enjoy as you sink your toes between silky sand and soak up the Trini beach vibes.

The ticket holder voluntarily agrees that the management, venue, event participants, DesignMyNight (WFL Media Ltd) and all of their respective agents, officers, directors, owners and employers are expressly released by the ticket holder from any claims arising from such causes.
2. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
3. Please check your tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
4. Occasionally, events are cancelled or postponed by the promoter, team, performer or venue for a variety of reasons. If the event is cancelled, please contact us for information on receiving a refund from the responsible party. If the event was moved or rescheduled, the venue or promoter may set refund limitations. It is your responsibility to ascertain the date and time of any rearranged event.
5. The venue reserves the right to refuse admission and may on occasion have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of the patrons.
6. Every effort to admit latecomers will be made at a suitable break in the event, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
7. We regret that tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase.
8. Tickets are sold subject to the venue or promoter's right to alter or vary the programme due to events or circumstances beyond its control without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
9. If this ticket is re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the promoter, venue management, DesignMyNight or one of their authorised sub-agents, it will become voidable and the holder may be
refused entry to or ejected from the venue.
