Given away only by a small moustache sign hanging outside, The
Moustache Bar is a small, stripped back basement club that lacks
the pretentiousness of some of the surrounding Dalston
clubs.
Inside, you're likely to be greeted by a young crowd squeezed
tightly into an area about the size of an average front room.
However, what The Moustache Bar lacks in size, it certainly makes
up for in its cheap drinks and friendly atmosphere. It's not trying
to match the size and grandeur of the best London basement
bars but instead focuses on creating an individual and warm
atmosphere as seen through its battered sofas and walls scattered
with postcards and Elvis posters.
The music is normally a mash up of indie, house and a few
classic party tunes making it a lot more accessible than many of
the Dalston bars. Best of all, entry is often free!
