The Grand British Bake Off

We bloody love The Bake Off. It's essentially everything that makes Britain great - cakes, people really caring about cakes, and sexual innuendo.

Before the show dies a slow and painful death on Channel 4, we would like to watch this season's final, in all its glory, on our giant screen with you all.

Expect:

• Cake. Lots of cake.
• Our Famous Photobooth
• Soggy Bottom Competition
• Paul Hollywood judging face masks
• The Grand Bake Off (Rules and categories below)
• London’s most GIANT screen
• Cameo appearances of your favourite past contestants (and if we can't make that work, a cardboard cut out Mary Berry at the very least)
• An afterparty with Oops-Upside-Your-Bread DJs

Doors at 6:30pm

The Grand Bake Off Judging at 7:30pm

Screening starts at 8pm 

Tickets to the screening also give you entry to the afterparty, until 12am!

Free Entry for anyone with a cake upon entry (however to be entered into The Grand Bake Off you must register your cake by following the instructions below)

All cakes will be sold at £1 a slice, with the money being given to Macmillan Cancer Support.

THE GRAND BRITISH BAKE OFF

Entrants need to register their cake in the appropriate category here, and arrive at the venue by 7pm, to enter the preliminary round of judging.

SIGNATURE BAKE – TRAY BAKE

Testing the bakers’ personality, creative flair and baking ability, the main challenge here is to produce something cute, rustic and altogether home-made-looking. It’s in this test that the Bakers get to show off their tried-and-tested handcooked bites.

TECHNICAL BAKE – PIES & TARTS

This challenge separates the wheat from the chaff. Take one basic recipe, with the same ingredients and instructions, and ask our bakers to produce the finished product… sound easy? Well, any variation on the finished product will be a result of their own technical knowledge and experience – or lack of. Bakers are laid bare in this task and this is where the pressure’s really on in the bake-off.

SHOWSTOPPER BAKE - CAKE

The oven gloves are off in this final challenge where the bakers are able to showcase their depth of skill and talent. The complexities of this task call for a professional standard in taste and appearance. Are they up to it? The judges will be looking for the most impressive and elaborate creations – that better taste first-class too.
