ELECTRIC BALLROOM PLAYS HOST TO THE OFFICIAL CAMDEN OKTOBERFEST
Herman Ze German take over the food for four dates of stein filled fun from September 28th 2019
The Official Camden Oktoberfest is becoming one of the largest Oktoberfest celebrations in London, now with Herman Ze German as the exclusive food partner 6,000 lucky ticket holders will celebrate over four dates of beer fuelled fun. With it being Camden’s largest Oktoberfest celebrations, Camden’s Electric Ballroom will be transformed into a fully decked-out, traditional Bavarian beerhall complete with long wooden tables and bunting, fit for a decadent bohemian schloss. Herman ze German will provide its legendary sausage, bringing authentic German wurst to punters tables throughout the event. With Grilled Black Forest sausage, Currywurst and Brotzel (pretzel alternatives) available. Alongside giant beers and endless delicious sausages, attendees to Camden’s Official Oktoberfest can expect music from The Old Dirty Brasstards, a 10 piece drum and brass ensemble playing covers, classics and oompah favourites.
All of the above is supported by Club De Fromage DJs, dancing, hilarious challenges and competitions running from 2pm - 9pm across four separate event dates of Sat 28th September, Sat 5th October, Sat 12th October and Sat 19th October with full fancy dress encouraged.
The iconic music venue will host waitresses and waiters who’ll be dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen keeping all steins filled to the brim throughout a day of indulgence. The highly regarded beers flying over from Germany are supplied by Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks all served in the renowned glass stein to all.
Headline act, The Old Dirty Brasstards. The tweed-clad 10-piece brass and drum collective comprises of some of London's leading freelance musicians, playing an eclectic fusion of pop, rock, hip hop, R&B, funk and soul covers that never fail to get any dance floor jumping. Dancers will be on hand to provide some elegant entertainment with unique challenges and competitions filling moments between music while the Club De Fromage party starting DJs will keep the crowd moving all day and night.
The Electric Ballroom is an iconic music venue at the heart of Camden Town’s bustling community and has been a key part of it since its early days over 80 years ago, for four weekends Camden’s largest Oktoberfest will take over the event space running from 2pm - 9pm. Ticket holders are advised to arrive by 4pm.

Oktoberfest our favourite part of Bavarian culture – and The Official Camden Oktoberfest are embracing it in all its glory for London’s finest Oktoberfest celebrations.
Following the sell-out success of the last two year’s festival, this year The Official Camden Oktoberfest are going bigger and better at the famous Electric Ballroom.
On two consecutive Saturday's - 13th and 20th October, you will find the spirit of Munich’s ultimate beer experience at Electric Ballrooms’s own Bierkeller.
The Electric Ballroom will be transformed into a fully decked-out, traditional Bavarian beerhall complete with long wooden tables and bunting, fit for a decadent bohemian Shcloss.
Our wunderbar waitresses and waiters will be dressed in Dirndl and Lederhosen and on hand to keep your steins filled to the brim and your mouths full of sausages. Lekker!
Oktoberfest is all about indulgence and excess. Camden Oktoberfest will have a wide selection of highly-regarded german beers supplied by Spaten, Löwenbräu & Becks. Enjoy copious amounts of ‘liquid gold’ served in the iconic stein glasses. There will also be a selection of fantastische European wines on offer.
Food traders will be providing hearty authentic Bavarian dishes including Weisswurst, Bratwurst and Currywurst and Sauerkraut plus tasty vegetarian options.
Along with giant-sized beers and delicious German sausages, revellers can expect live music from THE OLD DIRTY BRASSTARDS, dancing, hilarious challenges and competitions – with full fancy dress encouraged. Don’t miss Proud’s gluttonous Oktoberfest and head to Camden for a beer swigging, rowdy good time.
The weekend Oktoberfest frivolity will be running from 2pm-9pm. Ticket holders are advised to arrive by 4pm.
