The Port House

Description

The Port House provides an intimate haven to enjoy an intimate candle-lit meal of Spanish tapas away from the buzz of the rest of the bars in Covent Garden. With its narrow layout, bare stone walls and exposed wooden floors, the restaurant has the look and atmosphere of a wine cellar, perfectly fitting for a restaurant that takes regular trips to the Spanish countryside in order to find the best wines and ports to accompany your meal.

Pinxtos are typically social snacks eaten at bars with friends in Northern Spain. You can, therefore, bet that the restaurant will be lively with the hubbub of groups of friends. The charcuterie is particularly impressive with more types of cured meat than you can shake a stick at. Try a few varieties to find your favourite before moving onto some of the hot tapas dishes. The cosy and inviting space will mean that you'll be unwilling to emerge out into the daylight again after your visit. Luckily its central location means that it is perfectly situated so you won't have to travel too far to carry on your night at some of the best clubs in London.
