Retro Bar, London

One of the friendliest and most welcoming gay bars in London, Retro Bar is a fantastic venue that caters for all. Its easy-going mentality means it brings in an extremely varied crowd who are all there for the sole reason of having a good time. A fairly nondescript location, it's one of London's best-hidden gems in the gay scene.

As its name would suggest the bar emphasises everything retro, especially music, hosting a number of live acts and DJs throughout the week, playing everything from the 70s, 80s, and pop and indie classics. It's also got an antique jukebox which is full of incredible retro and rare tracks that cover a wide range of genres. 

Remarkably cheap drinks especially when you take into account its West End location, can all be enjoyed in its truly eccentric interior, covered in mismatched decorations with an intentionally tawdry feel that further accentuates the place's authenticity and retro philosophy.
