Carefully carved out of the purest ice and maintained at a crisp -5°C, Ice Bar is the UK’s only cocktail bar permanently frozen solid. There’s no half measures here; all walls, bars, tables and even your own personal glasses are skilfully sculptured using ice from the glistening waterways of the Torne River in Jukkasjarvi, Sweden.

Guests are kitted up in thermal capes and gloves to keep comfy, before heading inside for a 40-minute slot inside one of London’s most unique venues. Ice Bar comes equipped with an adjoining (warm) restaurant and cocktail bar for afterwards. The Ice Bar undergoes a yearly transformation, where the design is completely revamped to offer a fresh new vibe.

There’s a range of private hire options on offer as well as the iconic Icebar itself. The Basement features a modern European restaurant and cocktail lounge space which are both well equipped to host dinners, drinks receptions, product launches and Christmas parties. The venue can be hired out in its entirety for parties of up to 270.

Most unusual place (although a little small), with very tasty drinks!

Great venue, friendly staff, delicious cocktails and food and WAY easier than trekking to the Arctic circle to get a round in!

Thank you for the review and perhaps we might see you again for another one off visit, perhaps when we've had our annual theme change and have a whole new ice sculpture range inside the Icebar

The ice bar is a rip off. £36 for a bottle of proseco £9 in Sainsburys. lamb sandwich on the menu is lamb neck full of gristle. Pork belly is just a strip not cooked well chips £6 DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY

Very sorry to read this and we do hope you spoke to one of our team on the night if you had issues with your meal. We're always happy to help customers with whatever they may need, and our only wish is for our guests to have a great time with us. We should however clarify that our side dish of Triple Cooked Chips is £3.5 not £6 as you've claimed but, yes, our prices for Prosecco are more expensive that Sainsburys - We apologise if this came as a surprise to you.

I personally found it sounder cooler than it was. The idea of an Ice Bar is pretty cool, but you're not in there very long and it's actually quite small. It's a good experience but I wouldn't plan a night out here and it's easily something you could do in the daytime. Drinks are too badly priced in the normal bar area either.

Amazing place to chill and relaxwith your mates. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and chilled night out. The prices were a bit steep but the staff were nice.

Really fun bar to go to. Great as a Birthday present or just a fun night out. You get capes and a free shot in an ice shot glass on arrival. Everything made of ice, it's brilliant!

We went here for my boyfriends birthday and it was such good fun and the food was fantastic. So easy to get to as well which is is a bonus

Strong drinks! Venue is very small and busy. But people leave towards the end and there are much more space for pictures. I would recoment to go there once for a new experience, but it is not worth to go there more than once.

You get 45 minutes and one cocktail is included in the price of ticket. Drinks are truly tiny. It is very cold and I think 30 min would be just enough. However, it is a unique experience and I think it was worth it. One of a kind ;)

Definitely on the hit list for most folk that come to london. Drinks should be a lot bigger than the ones they serve, but you'll get plenty of snaps and have a great time, if you last the time slot.......

Winter wonderland just became a reality! Ice bar is a must see London attraction. They have a long selection of cocktails that leave you skating over to the bar for more liquid heaven.

A must for the experience if you like that kind of thing. It is expensive but if you know that just go for it and enjoy. Entrance comes with one free drink which is all i would recommend. It's enough time to enjoy the ice as much as you can and your ice glasses!

It's a nice idea but I was a bit disapointed - too expensive and very small.
12 Jan 2014 by

Definitely a novelty and definitely over priced. Makes for good conversations though!
02 May 2012 by

Well you don't get here for the comfy chairs and music. It's the novelty factor! Had a few mojito's before going in, and although you only get 40 mins in the actual Ice Bar, it's a good laugh and had a good laugh with the girlfriend. Definitely somewhere for novelty and special occasion, make sure you have plans before and after though.

I went to the ice bar with my work team last year. It was fun for the experience, but once is enough.
23 Nov 2010 by

Expensive! And you only get 45 minutes down in the bar. Good fun though and worth a visit. Bring £35 for your visit though...
