Description

Dirty Martini in Hanover Square is a hidden gem in central London for fine drinks in the finest of settings. It carries itself with pride and flair, from the elegant interior to the meticulously composed and well-shaken cocktails.

As a resident of fashionable Mayfair, nestled between Oxford Street and Bond Street, Dirty Martini is suitable for either after-work indulgence, pre-club cocktails or as a stylish late night venue. The mood is set by chandeliers, textured tiles, luxurious banquettes and bottle wall design at this lounge bar with a slightly mysterious seating layout. You can enjoy your drink in the Martini Lounge, on a stool in the main bar or hire a bespoke tunnel, bed or vault for private gatherings or parties. It sounds pretty kooky, but they’re all very nice and because they’re so popular you better book a table in advance.

You’ll want to wear something nice to mix and mingle with the young professionals sipping their way through the divine assortment of premium spirits, wine and cocktails. Martinis are a given speciality, from extra dirty to fruity passion fruit, to naughty chocolate (vanilla vodka, hazelnut liqueur and crème de cacao shaken with cream and cocoa). The Happy Hour is one of the advantages of Dirty Martini Hanover Square, with half price martinis, £12.50 bottles of wine*, £20 bottles of Prosecco, and £3.50 bottled beer and cider**.

*Excluding The Cloud Factory. **Corona, Staropramen & Aspall.

I don't know about the food or the drink at this place as the service was stopped for sometime today due to the incident that happened today at Oxford street but I would give 5/5 to the staff who showed real courtesy in letting me & my family plus Manu other such people inside at the time when some of the adjacent building had closed there doors. They let the people inside till things outside become normal and also didn't tried to cash in on the situation. Thanks Dirty Martini staff. Keep up the good work.

Love a bit of Dirty Martini! Each one has its own vibe but the same high quality cocktails. Definitely check out their Happy Hour- it's awesome! This one does struggle for phone signal but free wifi makes it ok still if you need to chat to people to meet up :)

Great service, great drinks, great value. The bar hosted a large group of us without hassle and we didn't have to wait long for our drinks. Looking forward to going again soon! Visited Dirty Martini Hanover Square on 2017-10-20

Lovely spot just off the caos of Oxford Street to start your Saturday night or to enjoy and extended happy hour. For sure one of the best places for cocktails made with fresh and esotic fruit and the generous happy hour. One to reccomend is definetly the passion fruit martini... but there's many more equally nice! Good lively music too which tops a great atmosphere thanks also to the friendly staff ( Thank you Michela).

Dirty martini has the best happy hour in London. The selection of cocktails are amazing, lychee and blood orange are delish. Bar staff are always super quick and friendly and cool uniform. Music is always cool chart stuff. Love this place.

Dismal. Absolutely dismal. Doormen on a power trip. Totally avoid! Seriously, you just don't need the hastle. We got in ok, since we had a table. It was just the constant supervision like we were children. At some point they'll realise that selling over priced booze whilst treating your customers like dicks is not a buisness model. Until then, aboid like the plague...

Myself and all my guests had such an amazing evening at Dirty Martini Hanover Square. It was the best 30th birthday party I could have asked for. Everything was perfect from the room we reserved to the kind hospitality we received on the day. Booking the whole event from the start was completely stress free and that was down to the great customer service offered by the Dirty Martini staff (head office and at the venue itself) I know myself and friends will definitely be visiting again in the near future. Thank you once again Dirty Martini for making my birthday one to remember! Rach :) Visited Dirty Martini Hanover Square on 2015-10-31

I was introduced to this bar a while ago and it turned out a really lovely place to have a great cocktail. The music is being played too loud, but the venue is absolutely great!

Sadly booked a table for a group of 6 on a saturday night. Arrived in time but was told it was one out one in, and when i mentioned the table booking i was told to just join the back of the queue (about 50 deep at this point). Best decision was to leave then. I'm sure it's nice inside but if you can't get in, whats the point. Other branches are friendlier.

Planned last minute drinks here for my birthday, so it was nice to be on the guest list with only 2 days notice before we went there. Only reason i haven't given 5 stars is the space inside. Its not that small, its just an odd shape, so it gets a bit cramped at times. But overall, a really good night. No troubles and the music was really good. Drinks are always nice here as well.

Only 1 out of the 3 London Dirty Martini's that I've been to but I've been back again and again because I liked it so much compared to other self-proclaimed cocktails bars, a term so frequently and loosely used in Central London, however I agree with the below review that once the dj starts up, situated right next to the bar taking up some good seating/standing space it becomes to loud to do anything but drink the delicious cocktails. Otherwise the temperature, lighting, and layout is good.

This is my go to bar when i want drinks after work in central. My girl loves it as its very sex in the city in style, good cocktails, well priced and a nice little hang out to surprise your friends with.

Music is good but far, far too loud in the cocktail lounge esp bearing in mind it is in a basement with low ceilings, Hey guys, the "lounge" is the clue - it's not a disco! I don't want to do a catch up with my friends on a week night where we have to shout at each other to make oursleves heard above the music! Not to mention that our ears were ringing as we left - bad sign and in breach of health and safety, never mind the health and safety for their bar staff who have to work there every night plus they crank up the volume from 8:30/9:00pm. We left so they lost out onour custom as did the table next to us and at the same time they have to pay the DJ. Not a good business module. No DJ and moderate, good background music will bring you more profit. It's not rocket science! I am so angry as it ruined a good night out! Have the loud music at the weekends but not for week nights! I have to now give this bar a miss... Shame because it would have been a great place for a sophisticated girls night out during the week. Mayfair Exchange is the same, When will the penny drop?

The stars, the moons - have all shinned brighter after I had sipped that incredible Dirty Martini. Franky D. knew that a well balanced drink can make you fly to unbelieved dimensions. Would recommend this intimate venue to anyone excited about cocktail experiments.

Fantastic happy hour and lively atmosphere. Few too many suits here mid week for my liking but its a solid bar for after work drinks and food at good prices in interesting decor.

My experience at Dirty Martini was only positive. It has a cool hidden underground vibe, a bit of glam for the girls and great cocktails, its perfect for the oxford street area and not many bars like it

What started of to be a great night out turned out to one of the most disgusting one ever. Beware of the racist, rude, uncouth and arrogant bouncer. He was rude to all my guests (surprisingly (NOT) just to the asians). Easy to look out for him - white, ugly, tall, ugly, rude, ugly. I would suggest you to go to the Covent Garden if needed coz the bouncer here will make sure he ruins your night out! Also, the place is cramped and much smaller than the Covent Garden one...Trust me, Babble is round the corner - MUCH better drinks, better crowd, super music and no ar*ehole bouncers there!
