Chotto Matte Launches its ‘Harajuku Heaven’ brunch
In celebration of the internationally renowned Harajuku culture, Chotto Matte will welcome guests in to a transformed and immersive setting to enjoy an interactive dining experience. With a series of London’s most influential underground DJ’s will keep the party alive from 12 – 6PM, last booking available from 4PM.
Reminiscent of stepping on to Takeshita Street, in the Harajuku district of Tokyo, guests will enter in to a world of breath-taking pops of colour; a large illuminated wishing tree will take centre stage whilst a team of Harajuku girls will be on hand to brighten up the brunch dressed in traditional outfits. Introducing a new destination brunch, diners can while away the hours whilst ordering from the exclusive menu;
The exclusively created menu will take diners on a culinary journey showcasing the restaurant’s distinctive Nikkei cuisine against a backdrop of Kawaii inspired teapots, chopsticks and teacups, bringing the energy of Japanese youth culture to a sophisticated clientele. The specialist menu introduces vibrant sushi doughnuts, seabass ceviche, vegetarian tacos, nasu miso beef tataki and sizzling beef teriyaki tobans curated by Executive Chef Jordan Sclare. In honour of the famous Anime Crêpes, the Harajuku brunch will delight guests with delicious soufflé pancakes, the perfect accompaniment to the brunch’s specialist serve of bottomless Yuzu Margaritas and more.
Chotto Matte’s Harajuku Heaven brunch, is available every Saturday with guests able to choose from a number of dishes within a carefully curated 6 course menu to include a traditional Japanese pancake souffle to finish bound to become a new London trend, Chotto Matte will be the first Japanese restaurant to unveil the masterpiece (available from only one other store in London). The food has been perfectly paired with bottomless cocktails including, Nikkei Bloody Mary, Yuzu Margarita, Gin Mar-tea-Ni served in Kawaii teapots and selected wine and beer.
