Queen Elizabeth Roof Garden and Cafe

Description

Open just for the summer, the Queen Elizabeth Roof Garden and Cafe is a green oasis situated above Southbank Centre. With stunning views and a riverside location it is one of the best spots to be when the sun is out. The garden is more like a rooftop park rather than just your everyday roof bar and terrace, which makes it extremely special. The floor is covered with green grass and surrounded by plants and trees provided by the Eden Project.

Open from 10am to 10pm everyday until the end of October, you can choose from a variety of pastries, cakes, sandwiches and snacks if you're hungry. The bar also offers a mix of summer cocktails as well as beer and other refreshing drinks. While it may not be the busiest place during the day, on a sunny evening it is full of people wanting a drink after a long day of work. With plenty of benches, tables and chairs and just general green spaces, you don't need to worry about not being able to find some place to sit. Go for the day to sunbathe and enjoy the delicious drinks and food!
