Must-Try: Alongside an international food menu, Bbar has live mix sessions and DJ sets throughout the week, as well as contemporary signature cocktails created by resident mixologists. Bbar’s top tip for the best Espresso Martini: The ingredients are really simple, it’s the execution that generates the magic! A really good espresso martini is in the technique and of course the fresh coffee. The shake must be vigorous and keep the liquid in rotation as in the Japanese cocktail shaking technique. It’s not about strength, more speed, and know-how.

Whether you are hosting a corporate event, a big birthday celebration, or an intimate social gathering, Bbar will tailor a solution to your needs. bbar, located opposite the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace and moments from Victoria Station, is superbly positioned.

The excellent private events space includes your own private bar for reception drinks and delicious canapés, or elegant sit-down meals. Simple, delicious food with South African influences can be found on the extensive menu with plenty of healthy and dietary options, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free, with a wide collection of wine, beer, spirits and creative cocktails.

43 Below

Downstairs below the main restaurant, discover '43 Below'. From your own private bar to drinks and delicious canapés, to sit-down meals and pre-theatre dining, 43 Below can be hired with no room charge from January to November. Available until 11 pm daily, a later license until 1 am is available, with six weeks' notice prior to the event.
