The Blind Pig at The Social Eating House

Description

Discretely tucked away above Jason Atherton’s Social Eating House, secret bar The Blind Pig has taken up a new residency hidden behind signs for an opticians and a blindfolded pig knocker (very clever). Inside you are welcomed by dark tones and a New York-style interior; all the while the experienced mixologists (led by A-class, Gareth Evans) concoct unique mixtures from the pun-tastic menu. To separate themselves from the restaurant below they serve up classy snacks called “Bites” and “Jars” which range from smoked mackerel paté, Cornish whitbait and duck fat chips to confit pork rillet.

Join the discerning after work crowd that come here to enjoy a slightly different type of bar to the usual bars near Oxford Circus and Regent’s Street. This is a great, social hub for a first date with that someone special; they’ll be so impressed that you found this hidden gem that you’ll be guaranteed a second date! Make sure you check out The Blind Pig above The Social Eating House, or its sister venue, The Blind Pig, hidden below The Anthologist.
