Taste Factory was the first of our ventures. We opened the restaurant serving only Brazilian pastries and snacks, and then, soon after, the pandemic hit... We had to remove tables and work only as a couple every day. We opened every day and that's how people started to get to know us; more and more people came to buy our pastries, until they started asking us for lunch boxes. I started by making one meal a day and we gradually increased the quantity. The pandemic passed, and we saw an opportunity to expand our space, so we hired our first employees, and soon we had 6 people working with us. Today, here at the Alexandra we have above 15 staff members, between the pub and private catering and/or events, in almost 6 years of Taste Factory. Our menu ranges from pastries of various flavours to daily specials and grilled meats. Not to mention Brazilian savory snacks, Acai bowls, cocktails, draft beers and other items served at different stations. Taste has become well-known and we are already transforming the brand into a benchmark. We have already set up Taste Sushi with the best Japanese/Brazilian fusion you can find in London and Taste also promote parties with live music, all of this in our new location, The Alexandra in Penge.
