Trisha's

Description

Hidden beneath a blue door on Greek Street, Trisha’s is one of Soho’s most legendary drinking dens. Officially known as the New Evaristo Club, this members' bar has been a fixture of the neighbourhood for decades, drawing everyone from artists and musicians to hospitality regulars. Inside, expect a characterful basement space filled with worn tables, vintage memorabilia, boxing prints and old-school Italian club charm, all contributing to its unmistakably authentic Soho feel.

While many hidden bars lean into the speakeasy trend, this spot has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way, becoming a beloved local institution with a fiercely loyal following. Live jazz nights and an eclectic crowd keep the atmosphere lively, while its rich history has seen it recognised as one of Soho’s most iconic bars. It was famously championed by Anthony Bourdain.

A key figure behind the venue is Trisha Bergonzi, often referred to as the 'Queen of Soho', whose personality and presence have helped shape the bar’s enduring appeal.
