Hidden under Milroy’s Whisky Shop on Greek Street, The Vault feels like your own secret bunker: cosy booths, flickering candles, and that slightly mysterious vibe you didn’t know you needed. Sidle past the bookshelf, head down the stairs, and you’re in: plush seating, polished wood accents, and moody lighting set the scene for anything from dates to low-key meetups.
What makes The Vault really shine is its whisky heart. It’s born from Milroy’s, which opened in 1964, and carried forward by bartender Chris Tanner in 2014. Since then, it’s earned many an accolade, and stays true to its roots with clever cocktail craftsmanship and the occasional jazz night.
