Sipsmith, famous for pioneering London's Dry Gin revival, has teamed up with The House of St Barnabas to launch its latest pop-up, the Sipsmith Punch House. This iconic location provides Londoners with a place to experience the atmosphere of the 1800s Punch Houses in London, where gin cups were traditionally served.
The House of St Barnabas has had its home at 1 Greek Street, Soho for over 150 years. You will sip on an array of gin-based cups, sitting in the garden under the plane trees that feature in A Tale of Two Cities - the courtyard where Charles Dickens penned this famous work and at the very time that Punch Houses proliferated London.
Tickets for each 90-minute Punch House experience cost £15 per person, which includes your first tipple on arrival, a potted history and peek around The House of St Barnabas, and an introduction by one of the Sipsmith team. All proceeds from your ticket price will go straight to The House of St Barnabas and help someone back into lasting paid work.
A strictly ticketed event, you will access the exclusive club at The House of St Barnabas, a social enterprise pledging to break the cycle of homelessness by operating London's first not-for-profit private members' club, supporting people who have been affected by homelessness back into work through an integrated training programme and on-site work experience.
Guests are reminded to enter the House through the Manette Street entrance on the day. If you have any questions regarding your booking please contact The House of St Barnabas on 020 7437 1894.
