Description

Archer Street is very much a Soho bar with two personalities! You'll find this elegant West End hangout has all the hallmarks of a hotel bar, with a gentle yet sophisticated buzz upon entry. It has an exclusive, stylish feel to it, but without the members club policy. They serve deliciously well crafted cocktails, but be prepared to splash the cash at this Soho bar as the quality is reflected in the price. Archer Street is also famous for their singing bar staff, so don't be surprised if they break out into the latest chart topper while serving you a cocktail! Descend the stairs to the basement bar where the DJs start pumping some classics and gets the party started.

FESTIVAL is the must-try summer basement bar from Archer Street. Inspired by some of the best music festivals in Europe, expect cutesy innards, a sweet summer theme and some of the best live music in the business as part of their 'Summer Of Music'. Launching this May 14th, there's no need for wellies, but plenty of hankerings for cocktails.

Important Info - Bookings are only taken for 6 or more people. Archer Street only accept mixed groups, so no stag or hen partys. All coats and large bags must be checked into their complimentary cloakroom. For parties of over 10 people, Archer Street like to meet with the lead member beforehand to show them the area. Entry will be denied to anyone who appears to be intoxicated.

Such a great night had! Always my favourite place to go out but actually organised a table for an event this time and everything was seamless and the staff were so helpful! Definitely recommend it, especially for a special occasion as it was for me! visited Archer Street on 25 Nov 2016

Another brilliant evening at Archers! Where else can you walk in to a ready made party with such a convivial atmosphere and brilliant music? Do not be misled by the comments, the bouncers work hard at ensuring that any drunk and disruptive element is removed and this is an essential contribution to keeping the party on track. You should see the emails from everyone the next day. Happy memories until our next visit! visited Archer Street on 17 Nov 2016

We only ended up staying for an hour when we were supposed to be staying there the whole evening. Not the most friendliest place. Area was very small and we had 4 people drop out so I can't imagine how tight it would have been if they had come. The doormen were rude. I've worked in clubs and bars all over the world safe to say I won't be a regular at Archers street. The booking manager was lovely and the singers amazing. visited Archer Street on 17 Nov 2016

Fun night with lots of dancing. Liked the fact that the place wasn't packed, only people included in bookings were in and that worked really nice. visited Archer Street on 29 Oct 2016

I booked a small area in the corner for some birthday drinks. Overall, we had fun, but the place was much busier and louder than I had expected. The drinks staff are great and are constantly coming around to check on you, which was great. But the door policy of having to leave your coats in the cloakroom was handled a little too militantly for my liking, and one particular security staff member was incredibly hostile towards our group. She kept aggressively telling us to step away from the fire exit (when we weren't really that near it) and off the step we were standing on. As we were a group of ten, the area we were allocated by the bar was not quite big enough so being this aggressive about keeping us in our 'allotted area' was not necessary or appreciated. I understand she had a job to do but there are more polite ways of telling paying customers to do as you ask! visited Archer Street on 21 Oct 2016

We had an amazing night! We really appreciated your kind staff, always checking if we needed anything, very helpful and smiling. Your staff and music are amazing. Can't wait for our next night out with you guys. visited Archer Street on 22 Oct 2016

Hard to talk about a place that you were not allowed in. Have been there before when reservation was not necessary. But tonight (apperently) it was. The girl at the door told us to come back later, as we did we were asked to show ids. The guy has said that my friend's id was too damaged that they could not accept. Shame on them, shame on the guy who was very rude saying so. Will never go back and would not recommend in case your document looks used ( as they all do). Better drink somewhere else.

We've tried on several occasions to get into this bar to no avail. It seems you have to have a table booking or be on a big group. Always a huge line and door staff are not very helpful. A shame as it sounds v cool inside.

Terrible place staff are rude aggressive and patronising overpriced drinks there are much better bars in London where u will be treated with respect for the money you are paying please read the reviews on trip advisor to understand how they treat people at this bar!!

Usually have a good night when I have been before and wanted to show some friends what I rave about. Must have been an off night (and this before 7pm!) and friends will not be going back. Won't go into details but mixed up drinks - none arrived for ages then too many - incorrect bill which took ages to sort out considering it was their mistake, table not ready and so (helpfully) given another table in meantime until another waitress then kicked us off, kept being told to take coat to cloakroom but no one on duty - at last one waitress was helpful and took them for us. Usually cannot fault this place but not a good experience this time. Arlette visited Archer Street on 21 May 2016

Very accomadating and able to house large numbers (there were 12 of us). The venue is really cool and spacious with quirky decor. Downstairs is really cozy and the waitress's were super friendly. I loved it when they burst out into song on the mic. Amazing place!

I booked Archers for my birthday party and it was best decision. I loved it and all of my guests, we had a time of our life! Great atmosphere & music. Service very helpful & lovely. Thank you Archers - we'll be back!!

We used to love that place but its no longer as sophisticated as it used to be - maybe half a dozen of drunk people just collapsed on the floor and in front of the cloakroom that night ... quite pathetic really and definitely not sophisticated at all. nightscreening visited Archer Street on 21 Nov 2015

Had visited many, many times before my recent visit on Friday 13th. I had booked two tables and collectively myself and guests spent more than £1000 only to be told that we couldn't dance on the table because some saddo who had booked the sofa didn't want us to dance on the table (to the extent that when we tried we were greeted with abusive behaviour from the saddo sofa set!). Come on Archer Street dancing on the tables is what you are/were about! Anyhow we left because the sofa set's behaviour was just going to cause trouble. In my view if people book and don't want others to have fun they should be asked to leave! I won't be going back and advise that if you are going to enjoy yourself, check first that the management will allow you to have fun and that the DJ won't be acting like a prima donna. Probably a safer option to go to the Radio Bar - fun, funky and the staff are respectful. kat14 visited Archer Street on 13 Nov 2015

If you're going to Archer in hopes of finding Piste and christmas cocktails, don't as it's not open yet, and when it does open apparently it's only at the weekend. After making the trip on a Tuesday, we painfully sat through the worst karaoke entertainment ever, luckily the wine was good, but given the cost it damn well should of been.

Terrible attitude at the door. We pre-booked and paid a deposit only to be told at the door that they didnt have our reservation (even after showing them the original emails) and they are overbooked. Then a bunch of girls declared they havent book and where let in no questions.

AVOID. One of the WORST experiences I had. Treated like scum by the door staff for no reason. When tried asking politely why I am being treated like that was completely ignored! If you enjoy being humiliated before you even get in, that's your place.

ideal if you're looking for a bubbily night out with everyone table dancing, singing and really letting their hair down, unfortunately i got there at 11 when everyone was wasted and i was sober and couldn't enjoy the novelty of someone drunkenly bellowing in my ear 'its raining men hallilujah' however, if i wasnt so miserably sober and on antibiotics im sure i would have found it hilarious and have the best night ever, i will come back again, and i will get my party on!

Very good Daiquiris! Might have went for the extravagant Peach Mix, but the Bartender was nice enough to listen to my pretences! I will be back next week with my work mates! Keep the rummors spreading, this place is worth your nickels!

Beautiful cocktail lounge with attentive staff and first class drinks. The mojitos are to die for! Make sure you book well in advance though and arrive about 8.30pm for the best atmosphere!

A really really good and solid cocktail bar. If you want to experience great service in London and how bars should be run then this is the place to go. AND the barmen and women sing! Sounds tacky but it really isnt...its amazing! If you want to impress someone with your local london knowledge of great drinking holes that are a bit hidden then archer street is the place to take them!

some of the best cocktails in London can be found here! Although a little pricey they're definitely worth it and being brought here on a date was a right treat.
