The first bricks-and-mortar collaboration between Copenhagen's craft beer trailblazers, Mikeller, and actual pop icon Rick Astley, Mikeller Bar is one of Shoreditch's most exciting hubs. Fronting a carefully curated and always interesting selection of craft beers, made from curious and locally-sourced ingredients, it's one of the most stand-out watering holes in the area. 

The same goes for the design which combines the Scandi aesthetic of co-owner Mikkel Borg Bjergsø's native Denmark with the warmth of the classic London boozer and more than a few nods to Astley's work. Design house Femmes Régionales have taken inspiration from one of the singer's music videos, while the collaboration as a whole is given an artistic embodiment as Mikeller and Astley are depicted via contemporary neon signage in the bar.
